We understand that you are seeking a permanent job position, and we are here to pray and support you in this journey. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is faithful and that He provides for His children according to His will and purpose.
Finding a job is not only about financial security but also about aligning your God given skills and talents with His will. God gave us these skills and talents and it is important to use these to glorify Him. Exercising your gifts and talents in a career you are called to can be a form of worship. We are reminded of this in Colossians 3:23-24 WEB: "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."
Jesus Christ is the ultimate provider and it is only by His name that we can have access to God. He said in Matthew 7:7-8 WEB, "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened." God wants us to come to Him with our requests, and He promises to answer according to His will.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking a permanent job position. We pray that You would guide them to the right opportunities and open the doors that You have ordained for them to walk through. We ask that You would provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory and that You would give them favor in the eyes of potential employers. Help them use their gifts and talents for your glory. Give them the wisdom and discernment to know Your will and the strength to pursue it. Lord, thank You that You know the desires of their heart, and You have a plan and a purpose for their life. We pray that You would align their desires with Your will and that they would trust in You with all their heart.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. May God bless you and keep you as you seek His will for your life and He will grant you the desires of your heart.
Finally, remember that obtaining a job is not a guarantee of success. He will provide the opportunities, but it is our job to be good stewards of these opportunities and do all we can do. We should do the best we can do and then God will do the rest.
