Praising The Lord Anew For My Temping Job

This week it was in the news that in my country only 6% who lose their job being the age of 50 or above the age of 50 find work again. According to statistics my country is the worst in re-employing people above 50. Reading this article was an occasion to reflect on how good our God is and how thankful I am. I lost my permanent job at the age of 55 and I praise the Lord that He has been with me travelling the road of job hunting and finding temping jobs to have income. It has not always been easy and there are moment I had to be patient, but I am so thankful and I praise Him when I read such articles that I have a relationship with a wonderful Father who cares for me and for all his children. He will not leave us nor forsake us, even when we are above 50 in a society where there is a lot of unemployment and economic crisis...

Father God, I praise You that Angeline is the "one" of the ten. I often recall the story of the 10 lepers who were cured, and only one of them returned to give thanks. I thank You for always caring for my sister in Christ, for providing her not only with her daily needs, but work opportunities, health and faith. You are generous and loving and we lift Your name on high for Your blessings and mercy. Thank You for all of Angeline's victories and blessings - in the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
