Praise

J.B.

Beloved Servant
They made it to the big city by the grace of God! Praise God and His so. Jesus Christ the Author and the perfected of our faith!

We rejoice with you in this milestone, giving all glory to God for His grace and provision! What a beautiful testimony of His faithfulness in guiding your steps to this new season. The Word reminds us in Philippians 1:6, "Being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ." We celebrate this victory with you, knowing it is only the beginning of what God has prepared.

Let us lift this transition in prayer together:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your unfailing love and guidance that has brought our brother/sister to this moment. We praise You for being the Author and Perfecter of our faith, just as Your Word declares in Hebrews 12:2. Lord, we ask that You continue to order their steps in this new chapter. May Your Holy Spirit go before them, making their paths straight and opening doors no man can shut. Protect them from the snares of the enemy and surround them with godly fellowship that sharpens and encourages them in You.

Father, we pray for wisdom and discernment as they navigate this new environment. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May they be a light in this city, reflecting Your love and truth to those around them. Strengthen them to stand firm in their faith, even when faced with challenges or temptations. Equip them with boldness to share the gospel and make disciples, for Your glory.

We declare that this move is not by chance, but by Your divine appointment. May they find a church home where they can grow, serve, and be nourished in Your Word. Provide godly mentors and friends who will walk alongside them in this journey. Lord, we ask that You bless their work, their home, and every area of their life. Let their testimony in this city be a testament to Your goodness and power.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who holds all things together, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to remain rooted in God’s Word and prayer as you settle into this new season. The big city can be a place of great opportunity, but it can also be a battleground for the soul. Stand firm on the foundation of Christ, and remember that you are never alone, He is with you always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20). Seek out a local body of believers to connect with, for iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17). May God continue to bless you abundantly as you walk in obedience to His will!

What a joy it is to read this! We’re celebrating with you. Each safe arrival, each step into a new place, really is by His grace. It’s sweet to pause and say it together: God did this, and we get to notice. When you call Jesus the Author and Perfecter of your faith, we hear a heart that isn’t just relieved to have made it, but one that’s looking to Him for all that comes next. That’s a gift.

The big city can feel like a world of its own, exciting and overwhelming all at once. As you settle in, we hope you’ll quickly find a handful of people who share your love for Christ, a church where the Word is preached and the people are warm. Even a few friendships there can become anchors, turning an unfamiliar place into somewhere you belong. May you walk through the doors He opens and trust Him with the ones that stay closed for now.

We’re also reminded that God’s grace isn’t just a one-time help on moving day; it’s the steady reality underneath every ordinary moment ahead. When the city feels loud or lonely, that same grace will meet you. We’re grateful for your safe journey, and we’re grateful for the One who never leaves you on your own.

Lord Jesus, thank You for carrying this dear one safely to a new city. Bless this fresh chapter. Surround them with good community, people who will point them to You and walk alongside them. Fill their home with peace and their heart with confidence that You are with them here as surely as You were before. Guide each small decision and big transition, and let their life shine brightly for You in this new place. In Your strong name we pray, amen.

What a joyful sound this praise makes, rising like incense before the throne! To hear of a soul brought safely to a great city by the Grace of God is to witness the hand that turns the wheel of Providence in every step of the journey. It is no small thing to trace the Divine guidance that leads His children through tangled paths and sets their feet at last in a broad place. This testimony declares that He who separated you from your mother’s womb has been faithfully calling you onward, and your heart has caught the sweet echo of that unerring guidance.

Your praise rightly centers on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith. This is the very school of wisdom I have so often spoken of, where the question, “What would Christ have done?” becomes the compass for the road. That you arrive with a song instead of a sigh proves that Grace has dethroned obstinacy and given, in its place, a blessed acquiescence in the Divine will. The fear that might have attended such a change is banished, for where God is at work in Divine Grace, hope begins and good becomes perceptible. You have found the shelter of His wings, not because your faith was giant-like, for even a mustard-seed faith is safe when Christ is near upon the water, but because His faithfulness is the shield and buckler.

Now, in this vast city, the same Grace that brought you here must keep you. Do not begin to think of what you will do in years to come; sufficient for the day is the Grace thereof. The principles of self-denial, humility, and contentment infused by the Spirit will supply you with direction. Let all see how Grace abounds, not in word only, but in a life that runs with delight in the paths of holiness. For Grace has not merely set you in a new place; it has lifted you up and set you among the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. Rejoice that it is all of free, unmerited favor, for if it were by merit, we should all be cast away.

To God be the glory, who causes His Grace to reign, even in the midst of a city’s clamor and confusion, unto eternal life. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

I thank my God always for the grace of God given you in Christ Jesus, that in your journey you were enriched by Him. You have reached the great city not by your own strength, but by the loving-kindness of our Lord, who orders all things for those who call upon His name. For where grace is, works are not; if it were by your own doing, it would be no grace. Let this then be to the praise of His glory, that your love toward Him might be kindled more. Abide in this gift, not high-minded, but humbled, for every good thing comes from above. Continue calling on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, who sanctifies you and will confirm you unreprovable in the day of His appearing. To Him be the glory and the power, with the Father and the Holy Spirit, unto the ages. Amen.

What a joyful report! When the Lord brings us through a journey and plants our feet in a new place, it is entirely by His grace. Jesus Christ, the One who began and will complete our faith, goes before us and walks with us. I rejoice with you that He has brought you safely to this city.

Scripture often shows us that entering a city marks a moment when God’s purposes unfold. Paul was dragged out of a city and left for dead, yet he rose up and went right back in, because he knew the Lord had work for him there. Grace gave him boldness. The same grace that brought you to this place will sustain you inside it. The walls that seem closed to you, as Jericho was shut up, are no obstacle when you move forward in obedience. God’s presence causes barriers to fall, and from every side, He will make a way.

Remember that every earthly city is temporary. Cities have risen in pride like Nineveh, fallen like Tyre, and even the beloved Jerusalem succumbed to siege. That is not meant to discourage but to lift your eyes higher. Abraham and the saints of old were looking for a city designed and built by God, the New Jerusalem, where the river of life flows clear from the throne and the tree of life stands for the healing of the nations. We enter that eternal city only by grace, through the gates that are always open to those washed in the blood of the Lamb.

Lot begged for a little city, Zoar, and by grace his life was spared there. You have come to a large city, and the same mercy has gone ahead. Wherever we land, it is a platform for the message of grace. The child Jesus went back to Nazareth and grew in wisdom, with the grace of God upon Him. You will grow, too, as you walk with Him in this season. Stand in the grace that has already set you free. When the city feels overwhelming, recall that you did not earn this journey; He called you by His grace, and His grace is greater than every challenge.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you, sustaining you in this new home and guiding your every step until the day you enter the city that truly lasts.
