I posted a couple of different prayer requests several days ago - (1) Why has God turned his back on me? and (2) Potential job opportunity.

Well, the first, I know God did not turn his back on me and my depression lessened considerably once I finally surrendered to Him.  I don't have a lot of experience in letting go and letting God deal with my stuff.  I'm pretty selfish that way.  But I'm learning.  I feel led to write a book on depression and God with which I'm working on currently and will continue working on throughout NaNoWriMo, along with another book (fiction) I started back in April.  Lord, oh Lord, help.  On the second request, I did receive a job offer, went through training and testing and now I'm waiting to hear when I can start.  Please pray it's soon as I am behind on bills and need to buy food for my family.  I do feel it's all going to come together.  I am just trying to be patient.  Thank you all, each and every one of you, for your prayers.  You are kind, loving souls, and I'm not sure I would have made it through this past week if I had not found y'all.  Y'all were there, along with God, in one of my darkest hours.

If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
