πŸ™Œ For it’s Your Kingdom, Power and Glory Forever, Amen,” Matt 6:9-13, Thank You in Jesus' Name.

We rejoice with you in the truth of Matthew 6:33, which reminds us, "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." Your heart is rightly aligned in prioritizing worship, thanksgiving, and the pursuit of God’s kingdom above all else. The Lord’s Prayer is a beautiful model of how we should approach our Heavenly Father, first honoring His name, surrendering to His will, and then presenting our needs with humility and trust.

We are encouraged by your recognition that our relationship with God must come before all else. Jesus Himself taught that loving the Lord with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength is the greatest commandment (Mark 12:30). When we seek Him first, He promises to provide for our needs, guide our steps, and align our desires with His perfect will. This is the foundation upon which all other blessings, including godly marriages, provision, and peace, are built.

Let us pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of praise and gratitude. You alone are worthy of all honor, glory, and worship. We thank You for Your faithfulness, Your provision, and Your unfailing love. Lord, we ask that You would help us to seek Your kingdom first in every area of our lives. May Your will be done in us and through us, just as it is in heaven. Forgive us for the times we have allowed distractions, worries, or worldly desires to take precedence over You. Cleanse our hearts and renew our minds so that we may walk in Your righteousness.

Father, we trust in Your promise that when we seek You first, all other things will be added unto us. Provide for our daily needs, both spiritual and physical. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Strengthen our faith and help us to forgive others as You have forgiven us. May Your kingdom come and Your name be hallowed in our lives and in the lives of those around us.

We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we have access to You. May Your kingdom, power, and glory reign forever. Amen."

We also want to gently encourage you to examine whether there are any areas in your life where you may be holding back from full surrender to God’s will. Sometimes, even in our pursuit of Him, we can cling to certain desires, relationships, or habits that do not align with His Word. For example, if you are in a courtship or relationship that is not centered on Christ or is not moving toward marriage as God designed it, we would urge you to seek His guidance and consider whether it honors Him. Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, and any relationship outside of that design falls short of God’s best for us (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6).

If there are struggles with sin, whether it be sexual immorality, unforgiveness, pride, or idolatry, we encourage you to confess it before the Lord and seek accountability with fellow believers. James 5:16 reminds us, "Confess your offenses to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." Do not carry these burdens alone; God has placed His people around you to walk alongside you in repentance and restoration.

Lastly, we want to emphasize the importance of the name of Jesus in our prayers and lives. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Romans 10:9 tells us, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Salvation is a free gift, but it requires a response of faith and repentance.

May the Lord continue to draw you closer to Himself and fill you with His peace as you seek Him first. He is faithful, and His promises are true. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He will lead you into all truth and righteousness.

We love seeing a heart turned toward the Father like this. When we pray β€œYour kingdom come” before we ask for anything else, we’re doing something deep, we’re handing God the steering wheel for the day and saying, β€œShape my circumstances and my heart around what matters most to You.” That kind of surrender isn’t about ignoring real needs; it’s the very ground where peace grows, because we’re no longer trying to be our own provider.

What you’ve expressed here isn’t just a list of requests, it’s a whole orientation. And we’ve found that when we make this pattern a daily touchstone, it does something practical: over time it quiets the anxious scrambling and reminds us that our daily bread, our need for forgiveness, our protection from evil, are all safely in His hands. One simple way to anchor that is to return to these words each morning or evening, but slowly, lingering over each line as a personal conversation, not a recital. Let it become yours: where do you most need His kingdom to break in today? What β€œdaily bread” are you actually asking Him for?

We’re so glad you’re resting in this.

Father, we thank You that You’ve taught us to come to You as children, with praise on our lips and trust in our hearts. Keep drawing this dear one deeper into the life of Your kingdom, show them more of Your will unfolding in their small, everyday moments, and supply everything they truly need. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

How often the lips repeat these sacred words while the heart tarries far from their meaning! You have set before us the very pattern of prayer from our Lord’s own lips, and the first petition is not for bread, but for the hallowing of the Father’s name and the coming of His kingdom. This is the grand priority, and yet how readily we invert the order, clamoring for temporal mercies before our souls have bowed in adoration. To seek the kingdom first is to make God our confidant in all things, as a child speaks freely with a father who delights to hear. See that your prayers do not become a mere litany of wants, but a daily communion, the man of God alone with God, declaring his ways unto the Lord who hears. That is the pulse of spiritual life: a heart that rests not till it has gazed upon the Father’s face and heard His voice in return.

You have asked for daily bread, and well you may, for He is as truly the God of the valleys as of the hills. He who clothes the lilies and feeds the ravens will not starve His own children. Yet remember that we are too prone to confine His care to our higher spiritual interests, as the Syrians thought Jehovah ruled only the mountains. Your hourly troubles, those pinching needs that fret upon the spirit, are not beneath His notice. Cast them all upon Him, the bread for your body, and the bread of His Word for your soul, for He bids you ask. But take heed: when you ask forgiveness, the prayer binds you to forgive. A debtor who will not release his brother’s paltry pence while pleading for a thousand-talents pardon from God, robs the Almighty of sincerity. This is a practical robbery of which too many are guilty, and it makes a mockery of the petition.

You have framed your request in the spirit of childlike dependence, and that is the only posture for receiving the kingdom. We do not enter by climbing heights of learning or merit, but by receiving as little children. Yet I press this upon you: none may truly cry β€œOur Father” who have not been born from above. Creation alone does not confer sonship; it is the new birth by the Spirit which grafts us into the household of faith. Examine that ground, lest you rob God of the honor due His Son by presuming upon a relationship not sealed by the blood of the covenant. When the soul knows by the Spirit’s witness that Jehovah is the Father of its heart, then the words β€œThy kingdom come” rise with power, and the whole life becomes an imitation of God, a reflection of His character before a watching world. Dwell much with Him in secret, and you will carry the fragrance of His presence into every corner of your day. To such, the promise stands immutable: being justified, He will sanctify, and whom He sanctifies He will glorify. In this unchanging God you have a peace which passes understanding, not a truce with sin, but the calm of a soul reconciled through the finished work of the Son. Go, then, and pray as you have written, but let the heart’s Amen be louder than the tongue’s, trusting that the Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The order of your prayer is pleasing to God, for you put first the hallowing of His Name, the coming of His kingdom, and the doing of His will. This is indeed to seek the kingdom of heaven before all else. But understand what it truly means to seek that kingdom. It is not to look for who is greatest in an earthly realm, who is wealthiest, who most powerful. Those who are always gaping after such things cannot inherit the kingdom, for their heart remains chained to the dust. Therefore, test yourself: when you pray, "Your kingdom come," are you at the same time enslaved by the tyranny of the belly, neglecting things spiritual for the sake of a morsel? Do you call the poor man shameless when he begs for bread, yet think yourself not shameless when plundering? Do you honor the Devil, who helps you toward hell, while despising God who promises you a kingdom? Examine your soul carefully, for the hope of money or comfort often proves more powerful to us than the kingdom of God, and this is a most grievous enmity against heaven.

Yet the prayer continues aright, and from the great things we descend to the small. When you say, "Give us our daily bread," understand that you seek this sufficiency not for luxury or idleness, but that you may abound unto every good work. This is the mark of a well-disposed servant: to ask for what is needful for the body with a spiritual end in view, to do the will of God on earth even as the saints do it in heaven. Strive therefore to walk worthily of God, who has called you into His own kingdom and glory. As you receive your daily provision, become a fellow-worker unto that kingdom, a comfort to the suffering, a merciful hand extended. Do not only what is enjoined, but abound in all things, exceeding the bare command. For if you ask forgiveness and deliverance from evil, recall that you must forgive your debtors, you must not flatter sin nor remain a hired hand who fears hell but a true son who loves the Father.

Pursue the virtues with diligence, for the meek, the merciful, the pure in heart: all these promises of the Beatitudes shadow out nothing else but the Kingdom. They are not given to the poor in spirit only, but to all who hunger after righteousness. Let your life match the prayer you have lifted up. Do not think it enough to recite the words, while your conduct denies them. The Lord hears not the tongue’s noise but the heart’s condition. Approach Him, then, with faith mingled with obedience, and that Kingdom, power, and glory which are His forever, He will cause you to share.
