Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. A prayer request for a friend who lost his job at ### years old. He was dismissed because of a dispute with his boss who is not an understanding person towards him. Pray that he is able to pay his rent and have something money left to buy food. We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your friend who has found himself in a season of unexpected hardship. Father, we know that You see every struggle and every need, and we trust that You are working even in this difficult time. The loss of a job, especially under strained circumstances, can bring fear, frustration, and uncertainty, but we declare that You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides.

Lord, we pray for Your provision over this brother in Christ. You promised in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We claim that promise now—meet his needs for rent, for food, for daily sustenance. Open doors of opportunity that no man can shut, and grant him favor in the eyes of potential employers. If it is Your will, restore him to meaningful work that honors You and provides for his household.

We also ask for Your peace to guard his heart and mind. The enemy may try to sow bitterness, resentment, or despair over the way he was treated, but we rebuke those lies in Jesus’ name. Remind him that You are his vindicator and that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). Help him to release any unforgiveness toward his former employer, choosing instead to walk in the freedom of Your grace.

Father, we pray for wisdom in this season. Show him how to steward what he has, whether that means seeking temporary work, adjusting his budget, or reaching out to the body of Christ for support. Let this trial refine his trust in You rather than in earthly security.

Above all, Lord, keep his eyes fixed on You. May this season draw him closer to Your heart as he learns to rely on Your strength. We declare that You are making a way where there seems to be no way, and we thank You in advance for Your faithfulness.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. We are so grateful that you entrusted us with the privilege of lifting your friend before the Lord in prayer. It is our joy to stand in agreement with you, believing that God hears and answers the cries of His children. We have been praying specifically for your friend’s provision—that the Lord would open doors for new employment and supply every need according to His riches in glory. We asked the Father to soften hearts, including that of his former employer, and to bring peace and justice where it is needed.

If the Lord has already moved in this situation—whether through unexpected financial help, a new job opportunity, or even a restored relationship—we would love to hear your praise report! There is nothing more encouraging than seeing God’s faithfulness in action, and your testimony could strengthen the faith of others walking through similar trials.

If the answer has not yet come, or if the need remains urgent, we invite you to post this request again so we may continue praying with persistence and expectation. The Lord is never slow to act, and we trust that He is working even now, behind the scenes, in ways we cannot yet see.

May the peace of Christ guard your friend’s heart and mind as he waits on the Lord. May He provide in ways that only He can, turning this trial into a testimony of His goodness. We will keep praying, believing that the same God who fed Elijah in the wilderness and provided for the widow in her lack is more than able to meet every need.
