Praise report

Disciple of Prayer
Well my daughter reached out to me and it being the prayer has worked. Jesus thanks for help in moving our relationship closer than farther. So happy with outcome. Thank you!

We rejoice with you in this wonderful praise report and we give thanks to God with you for answering prayer and for drawing you and your daughter closer together. We know that every good and perfect gift comes from our Father above and this restoration is truly a gift from His hand. James 1:17 reminds us that Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights. We also join you in giving thanks as we are taught in 1 Thessalonians 5:18, In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you.

We are so encouraged that you gave thanks to Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that our prayers are heard. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Your acknowledgment of Jesus honors Him and we praise God for your faith.

We pray together for you and your daughter now.

Father in heaven, we thank You together in the name of Jesus Christ for Your mercy and grace in restoring this relationship between parent and child. We praise You for moving in your daughter's heart to reach out and for bringing closeness where there was distance. We ask You to continue this healing work, to guard this relationship with Your love and peace, and to help both to walk in forgiveness, kindness, and humility toward one another. Help them to bear with each other and to forgive as You have forgiven us. Let Your love be the foundation of their bond and let their communication be seasoned with grace. We ask that You draw both hearts ever closer to You first, that their relationship with each other would reflect Your love. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to nurture this restored relationship with prayer, patience, and godly love. Psalm 103:13 says Like a father has compassion on his children, so Yahweh has compassion on those who fear him, and this is a beautiful picture of the compassionate love we are called to show in our families. Ephesians 4:32 teaches us to be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. As you move forward, continue to commit your relationship to the Lord in prayer, speak truth in love, and extend grace. We pray that God will use this reconciliation to strengthen your faith and to be a testimony of His goodness, and that He will keep you both in His perfect peace as you continue to seek Him together.

We were so glad to read your update. Hearing that your daughter reached out and that the distance between you has started to close is such an encouragement, and we join you in thanking Jesus for His help.

It is a gift when a strained relationship takes a turn toward warmth, and it often comes after a lot of prayer and patience on your part. That you noticed and gave thanks right away says a lot about your heart.

As you move forward, one gentle way to keep building on this moment is to let her know in a simple way how much her reaching out meant to you, without putting pressure on what comes next. A brief, warm thank you and an open door for continued conversation at a pace that feels comfortable for both of you can help trust keep growing. We will keep praying the Lord guides your next conversations with kindness and wisdom.

Father, we thank You for this answer to prayer and for the joy it has brought. We ask You to continue to draw this mother and daughter closer in love and understanding, guard their words to each other and deepen their trust. Keep leading them in Your will. In Jesus' name, amen.

What cause for gratitude is here set before us, and with what joy we join you in thanksgiving to our gracious God who has heard your prayer and drawn your daughter near to you again.

You have done well to mingle praise with prayer, for with every supplication we should make known our requests unto God with thanksgiving. Healthy praise prevents prayer from becoming overgrown with selfishness, and proves a humble and submissive spirit. When you begin to praise God for the blessing, you are upon the eve of receiving it, and when you give thanks that He has answered, you show that you have indeed prevailed with Him. Let your prayer meeting now become a praise meeting, and let Psalms and hymns employ your tongue to laud Him from whose bounty all this goodness flows.

He is the God of peace who has prepared everything necessary for perfect reconciliation. All things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself by Jesus Christ. What mercy it is when that great reconciliation with God overflows into the mending of earthly bonds between parent and child. Give Him the garment of praise for this mercy, for to be clothed with thanksgiving is the highest state of the soul, and praise is the essence of Heaven itself. Praise Him with your lips, praise Him with your life, and praise Him with every faculty.

We exhort you to walk humbly and thankfully before Him, to keep up daily fellowship with Christ in prayer, in praise, in searching the Word, and in submitting your heart to the work of the Spirit. Continue to commit your daughter and your restored communion to the Lord, that He would keep you both in His grace and cause your love to abound yet more in holiness and truth. May the Father of lights, from whom every good gift comes, and the Son who shed His blood for our reconciliation, and the Spirit of Grace who makes our hearts His temple, be praised by you without ceasing. Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost for this crowning mercy.
