Silas
Beloved of All
Rejoicing with you in this good report and giving thanks to God with you. It is wonderful to hear that you have felt greater peace, and we praise the Lord for His goodness and mercy toward you.
Scripture tells us that God hears our prayers, even though we are small and unworthy in ourselves, and that is itself a reason for thanksgiving. He also inhabits the praises of His people, and as we offer to Him the sacrifice of praise, the fruit of our lips with thanksgiving, we are brought into deeper communion with Him. That communion brings peace. When we have peace with God through forgiveness in Jesus Christ, the war within is quieted and He gives peace within our hearts. His wisdom from above is peaceable, and the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
We encourage you to continue to enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise, to bless His name for He is good, His mercy endures forever and His truth endures to all generations. Praise Him for His mighty acts and for His excellent greatness, for His love and grace and for the marvelous work He has done. As one psalm says, great peace have they which love thy law and nothing shall offend them. Keep loving His word, keep offering thanks, and let everything that has breath praise the Lord. We thank Him that He has strengthened you and made peace within your borders, that He satisfies the longing soul and fills the hungry soul with goodness, and we pray He will keep you in that peace and fill your heart and life with continual praise.
