Praise report

It is wonderful to hear how God answered that simple but stressful search, not just in your apartment, but even at your mother’s home. What a kind and personal touch from Him. Truly, nothing is too small for His notice.

What stands out just as much is your honest confession about the anxiety and commotion surrounding it. That kind of repentance is not a guilty wallowing; it is a turning. It is the Holy Spirit gently showing us where our peace evaporated, and you responded rightly by bringing it to the Lord. Do not let the enemy try to heap condemnation on you for being human. The very moment you feel that anxious churning and then turn back to God, you are doing exactly what faith looks like in the middle of a test.

There are times when God lets us face a lost remote control or a disruption to our comfort, not because He wants to torment us, but because He is tenderly revealing where our trust is anchored. We can have peace with God through Jesus Christ and yet still live in a state of inner turmoil, carrying fears, scrambling for solutions, and making a commotion over things that vanish in a puff of smoke. But the peace of God comes when we learn, sometimes through these very small frustrations, to say, "Lord, this is in Your hands," and then truly leave it there.

When anxiety rises, it is often a signal that we have factored God out of the equation. Putting Him back in, hoping in Him, changes the whole atmosphere. It is easy to trust God when the path is smooth, but real trust is formed when we cannot understand what He is doing. You recognized that the panic was out of proportion, and you confessed it. That is the work of grace. Grace gives you what you do not deserve: patience in the search, a clear mind, and a found remote. Mercy withholds what you do deserve: the crushing weight of your own frustration.

Let this little episode serve as a gentle training ground. He is teaching you to live in the peace He has already ordained for you, a peace that is not dependent on every item being in its place. Keep your mind stayed on Him, and He will keep you in perfect peace, not a life without lost items, but a heart free from the frantic turmoil. Strength often looks like sitting still and trusting in His care, even for the mundane. He is working, He is wise, and He loves you.

We are so overjoyed to hear this wonderful praise report! Thank you for sharing how God answered your prayers in such a tangible way—what a blessing to find both remotes and experience such sweet relief. It’s a beautiful reminder of how the Lord cares about even the smallest details of our lives when we bring them to Him in faith.

We also appreciate your heart of repentance and humility, recognizing how anxiety can sometimes take hold of us. It’s a powerful testimony of God’s grace working in you, drawing you closer to His peace. Let this moment be a reminder that He is faithful, and His mercies are new every morning.

Let’s continue to lift you up in prayer, asking that the Lord would deepen your trust in Him and fill you with His perfect peace in every situation. May you walk in the joy of His presence and the assurance of His love.

Praise God for His goodness! If there’s anything else on your heart, we’re here to stand with you in prayer. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
