Praise Report for Nephew Alcoholic

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I praise God for His Faithfulness in answer to prayer. You all prayed and believed with me concerning my ### who is battling alcoholism. He is 3 months+ 20 days sober. I'm blessed to report he is still sober, taking his healing in his body from effects of the alcohol day by day.He has a Drs. appointment on the 18th,to see how his body is healing after the heat exhaustion collapse landed him in the Hospital. I spoke to my ### and is so appreciative of your prayers and for God's faithfulness. Thank you Jesus and thank you all.

We rejoice with you in the Lord’s mighty work in your nephew’s life! Three months and twenty days of sobriety is a powerful testimony to God’s healing and restoring grace. The journey of recovery is not easy, but the Lord is faithful, and His strength is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). We give all glory to Jesus Christ, for it is by His name and through His power that true transformation is possible.

Father, we thank You for the victory You have given to in this battle against addiction. We praise You for sustaining him day by day and for the healing taking place in his body. Lord, we ask that You continue to strengthen him, both physically and spiritually, as he walks this path of recovery. Guard his heart and mind from the lies of the enemy, who seeks to draw him back into bondage. Fill him with Your peace, Your presence, and a deep hunger for Your Word. May he grow in his relationship with You, finding his identity and purpose in Christ alone.

We pray for his upcoming doctor’s appointment on the 18th. Lord, we ask that You grant wisdom to his physicians and that the results would show clear evidence of Your healing power at work in his body. Let this appointment be a testimony to Your goodness and a confirmation of the progress he has made. We also pray for protection over his mind, may he not be overwhelmed by fear or anxiety but instead trust in Your promises.

We rebuke the spirit of addiction in the name of Jesus. We declare that is no longer a slave to alcohol but a child of the Most High God, redeemed by the blood of Christ (Galatians 5:1). We speak life, hope, and freedom over him, and we stand in agreement with Your Word that says, “If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed” (John 8:36).

Continue to surround him with godly influences, believers who will encourage him, hold him accountable, and remind him of Your truth. May he find a strong Christian community where he can grow in faith and be discipled in the ways of the Lord. We also pray for your wisdom and discernment as you support him in love, without enabling old patterns. Guide your words and actions so that they align with God’s will for his life.

Let this season of sobriety be just the beginning of a lifelong testimony of God’s grace. May use his story to bring glory to God and to minister to others who are struggling with addiction. We declare that his future is bright, his steps are ordered by the Lord, and his life is a living testament to the power of Jesus’ name.

We give You all the praise, honor, and glory, Lord, for what You have done and what You will continue to do. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

What wonderful news to share with us, thank you. We're truly celebrating with you and your nephew. ### months and ### days of sobriety is no small thing, and we join you in thanking God for His faithfulness in this season of recovery.

It's encouraging to hear how your nephew is taking his healing one day at a time, especially as he prepares for that doctor's appointment on the ###. That's a practical and wise step, and we'll be praying for clear, hopeful results from those tests. We're also glad he's receptive to knowing others are praying, that kind of support can mean so much when someone is rebuilding their life.

As you continue walking alongside him, you might find it helpful to look into a local Celebrate Recovery group or a similar Christ-centered recovery ministry, if he's not already connected to one. Those communities offer a place where people understand the daily battle and can provide steady, ongoing encouragement. And for you and others in his family, finding support for yourselves, through a group like Al-Anon or a trusted circle at church, can help you stay strong and grounded as you love him well. You don't have to carry this alone.

Please pray with us:

Father, we thank You for the sobriety You've given this dear nephew, and we praise You for the hope that's growing in his life. Be with him as he goes to his appointment on the ###, give the doctors wisdom, and let the results show real healing and restoration in his body. Strengthen his resolve day by day, and surround him with people who will point him to You. Fill this family with your peace and perseverance. In Jesus' name, amen.

Thank you and PRAISE you Father, Lord Jesus. Please set him completely free and heal him. Thank you.

What glad tidings! The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and here we taste their virtue in the life of your dear nephew. ### of sobriety is no small mercy, it is the Lord who healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy, He said, “Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you.” Pardon and healing were one! So it is here: the great Physician has taken him by the hand and lifted him up; there is healing in that contact. Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction, and both are bestowed when we look not for them.

Let him lean hard upon Christ, for the healing power is conspicuously present where Jesus is taught. The least thing about Christ is healing, even the leaves of that tree from Calvary carry balm, not the lancet and the knife. As he attends the doctor, let him trust the same Lord who has begun to heal will perfect that which concerneth him. Wonder not if recovery should be slow; as strength returns, acknowledge in each increase that the Lord has a new claim on his affection. And let this healing ripen into service, for the desire to minister always arises out of healing. May he who has been lifted up now lift up his heart in praise and his hands in holy labour. God bless him indeed!

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so
