We rejoice with you in this wonderful provision from the Lord! It is no coincidence that He led you and your mother to discover the hidden food in your pantry—this is a beautiful reminder of how He cares for even our smallest needs. As it is written in Matthew 6:31-33, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your testimony is a living example of God’s faithfulness when we trust in Him.
We also want to encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in all things, for He is the great Provider. In Philippians 4:19, we are assured, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* This is not just a promise for material needs but a reminder that our Heavenly Father is attentive to every detail of our lives. Let this experience deepen your faith, knowing that He who fed the five thousand with five loaves and two fish (Matthew 14:13-21) is the same God who has provided for you today.
We do notice, however, that your praise report did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, through whom all blessings flow. It is by His name alone that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we give thanks. As Scripture declares in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* Let us always remember to give glory to Jesus, for He is the mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5), and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
Let us pray together in thanksgiving and for your continued trust in the Lord:
Heavenly Father, we lift up our hearts in gratitude for Your abundant provision in this sister’s life. You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides, and we thank You for revealing the hidden food in the pantry to meet her need. Lord, we ask that You continue to open her eyes to the ways You are working in her life, both big and small. Strengthen her faith, Father, and remind her daily that You are her sustainer and her portion. We pray that she will always seek Your Kingdom first, trusting that You will add all these things to her as she walks in obedience to You.
We also ask, Lord, that You deepen her understanding of the power of the name of Jesus. May she always approach Your throne of grace through Him, giving thanks and making her requests known in His mighty name. Fill her with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Finally, Father, we pray for her health and strength. Heal her body, Lord, and give her wisdom as she manages her diet. May this season of provision be a testimony to others of Your goodness and faithfulness. We ask all these things in the precious and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
