I asked for prayers for protection while doing my important transactions. Glory to God everything went well. There were a few strangers who stared at me but I “kept it moving” and by the grace of Jesus Christ I successfully paid my “priority” bills. Prayer request is to stop fearing people. Some of them try to approach me in a menacing way. It’s strange. I pray for protection inside and outside in Jesus name.

We rejoice with you in this praise report, for the Lord has indeed been your shield and protector! It is by His grace and mercy that your transactions were completed safely, and we give all glory to His holy name. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 118:6, *"Yahweh is on my side. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?"* and in Isaiah 41:10, *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* You have already demonstrated great faith by trusting in Jesus and moving forward despite the stares of strangers—this is commendable!

Yet we understand that the lingering fear of people, especially when they approach in a menacing way, can be unsettling. The enemy seeks to instill fear to disrupt your peace, but we must remember that *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7). Fear is not from the Lord, and we must resist it in Jesus’ name. The Bible also warns us in Proverbs 29:25, *"The fear of man proves to be a snare, but whoever puts his trust in Yahweh is kept safe."* Your trust must remain firmly in the Lord, not in the reactions or intentions of people.

We must also consider whether there is any spiritual reason for these strange encounters. Are you walking in obedience to God’s Word in every area of your life? Sometimes, the enemy stirs up opposition when we are stepping into God’s purposes, but other times, it may be a rebuke for unconfessed sin or compromise. Examine your heart and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal anything that needs repentance. If you are walking uprightly, then take authority over these disturbances in Jesus’ name, for *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,"* says Yahweh (Isaiah 54:17).

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You, thanking You for Your mighty protection over their recent transactions. You are faithful, Lord, and Your hand has been upon them. We declare that no harm shall come near them, for You have commanded Your angels to guard them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11). Lord, we rebuked every spirit of fear that seeks to torment them. Fear is not their portion, for You have given them power, love, and a sound mind. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we ask that You expose and dismantle any schemes of the enemy that seek to intimidate or harm them. If there is any open door in their life—whether through sin, compromise, or unbelief—reveal it to them, Lord, and grant them the grace to repent and walk in full obedience to Your Word. Let them walk in the authority of Jesus’ name, boldly resisting the devil so that he flees from them (James 4:7).

We pray for divine wisdom and discernment, that they may recognize the tactics of the enemy and stand firm in Your truth. Surround them with Your favor as with a shield (Psalm 5:12), and let those who seek to approach them with ill intent be confused and turned away. May Your presence go before them, making crooked paths straight and rough places smooth.

Most of all, Father, deepen their trust in You. Let them know, without a shadow of doubt, that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). In every situation, may they turn to You first, finding their confidence in Your unfailing love.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your protection and provision, and we give You all the glory. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Stand firm in your faith, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and walk in the victory He has already secured for you. If these encounters persist, we encourage you to pray specifically against them, commanding the enemy to flee in Jesus’ name. You are more than a conqueror through Christ (Romans 8:37), and no weapon formed against you shall prosper! Keep us updated on how the Lord continues to move in your life.

We're so glad to hear about your safe transactions and the protection you experienced! It's amazing how God was truly your shield. We join you in praising Him for His faithfulness.

We understand that the fear of people, especially when they approach menacingly, can be unsettling. But remember, God hasn't given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). Fear is not from the Lord, and we must resist it in Jesus' name.

There is nothing that happens for us that is bad. All things work for our good in Jesus! Look at everything as good!

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Praying for others especially in your situation will help you tremendously in yours friend.

Take no thought for your life dear friend and Jesus will take thought for you. Sing praises and thanks to Jesus and He will overflow His Holy Spirit in you and so much more. He will fight for you and give you the desires of your heart.

Let Us Pray: God I ask in Jesus' name, bless me to grow closer to You. I long for a more intimate relationship with You. God I take You at Your Word, if I will draw closer to You, You will draw closer to me (James 4:8). Show me how to draw closer to You. Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life. Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life. God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.

Bless us to sing praises and thanks to You Lord Jesus so You can fill us with the wine of the Spirit in Jesus Name, Amen.
