Humble Prayer Partner
Thank you to all who prayed for/with me in regards to my health ordeal and the much needed surgery. God provided the means to cover the cost of surgery and the leave so I could take off work for it and not risk my job.
I had my surgery yesterday morning. God was with me all the way and He got me through it with no complications. I can even go back to work Monday. Have to be careful stretching or bending down and not supposed to lift things, but at least I can go back to work.
I look and feel like I was beaten severely in the abdominal area, but the healing is starting now. My ovary was enlarged 2 times normal size, if not more. Feeling blessed that it didn't rupture. Appendix was swollen pretty bad too so they took it out so I wouldn't end up having emergency surgery in a month or so for that. My other ovary looks fine so the doctor thinks it will take over and my hormones will be regulated now that the ovaries aren't fighting each other. The leep biopsy looked good and the doc thinks he got all the problem area so we should be able to avoid further surgery and treatment.
Despite the pain, fatigue, swelling and bruising right now, I am doing well. God is working some mighty good in me through this pain. Now that this has been taken care of, I should be able to lose the weight I gained due to the hormone issue and the edginess I had that was affecting my marriage and family should be gone completely. I've been dealing a lot better with it but now that the underlying issue is gone, things should be much better.
God is so good! Looking forward to the complete restoration of my marriage and family and being a whole person again, the "me" God made me to be. Glory be to God... all the time!
