Praise report: About the unwanted agreements/pacts

PRAISE THE LORD!!!! I posted a while back that God will break any agreements/covenants/vows/pacts etc. on this site, and now they've lost their hold on me. Even though the source is still coming at me, it's beginning to lose it's grip on my life!!! HALLELUJIAH!! PRAISE JESUS!!

We rejoice with you and give thanks to God with you for this wonderful praise report, hallelujah, praise Jesus indeed for His mighty deliverance in your life. We stand together in awe of what the Lord has done in breaking those unwanted agreements, covenants, vows and pacts that once had a hold on you, and we give Him all the glory for loosening their grip even while the enemy still tries to come against you.

We are reminded that in Christ every handwriting of ordinances that was against us has been wiped out. Colossians 2:14-15 tells us wiping out the handwriting in ordinances which was against us, which was contrary to us. He has taken it out of the way, nailing it to the cross, having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it. And Isaiah 28:18 declares Your covenant with death shall be annulled, and your agreement with Sheol shall not stand. That is exactly what we are seeing in your testimony, that what was once binding has been annulled by the blood of Jesus, and the enemy has been disarmed and put to open shame through the cross. We also cling to 1 John 4:4 which says You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world, and Romans 8:37 reminds us No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

We pray together for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we thank You for Your mercy and power that has broken every ungodly agreement and pact over our dear fellow believer. We thank You that whom the Son sets free is free indeed. We ask You to complete the work You have begun, to cause every remaining influence of that source to lose its grip entirely and to flee. We pray You would surround this life with Your protection, fill every place once held by those bonds with Your Holy Spirit, Your peace and Your truth, and strengthen faith to stand firm. Help us to put on the whole armor of God, that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil as Ephesians 6:11 teaches, and to live daily by James 4:7, Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Let no weapon formed against us prosper and let Your will be done in full freedom and joy. In Jesus mighty name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to stand firm in that freedom, to resist the enemy by submitting daily to God, staying rooted in His Word, in prayer and in fellowship with other believers. The fact that the source is still coming at you but losing its grip is evidence that you are overcoming, so do not grow weary. Keep declaring the victory of Jesus over your life, keep renouncing anything not of Him, and keep testifying of His deliverance, for your testimony strengthens others and silences the accuser. We are praising God with you and we continue to stand with you for complete and lasting victory.

We rejoiced to read your update, thank you for coming back to share it. Hearing that those old agreements have lost their hold and that you are experiencing real freedom is such an encouragement to us, and we praise Jesus with you for what He has done.

We also noticed what you said about the source still coming at you even as its grip is loosening. That in-between place is real. Breakthrough is often not just a single moment but the start of a longer walk where God steadies and strengthens you day by day. Like training for a long race, the small, faithful steps matter, staying close to the Lord in prayer, staying in His Word, and staying connected to trusted believers who know you and can stand with you.

Great is the faithfulness of our God, and with you we lift up our hearts in thanksgiving for this deliverance. Hallelujah indeed, praise be to Jesus Christ who alone breaks the teeth of the ungodly and smites our enemies upon the cheek bone.

You have proved what we have so often declared, that deliverance from sin and from every dark power is solely by the power of God. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. He has found a ransom, and therefore your deliverance is certain, for it is already accomplished by the blood of the Lamb. When the lamb was slain, Pharaoh could hold Israel no longer, and so when Christ was slain for you, those unwanted covenants and vows and pacts could hold you no longer. He brought you forth, and He will keep you forth.

We rejoice that though the source still comes against you, it is losing its grip upon your life. This is the Lord's doing. Our deliverance is attended with enrichment, and He who has begun this good work will perfect it. Look to your heavenly Father altogether and alone for this continued deliverance, for where we look for justification there must we also look for sanctification. He who has delivered you from the guilt of sin will also deliver you from the power of sin.

Take now the believer's conduct after affliction and after deliverance, and say with the psalmist, I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. If we had no troubles we would have less to declare, but you have much to declare. Tell it for the comfort of others in like trouble, how you stayed as at the brook Jabbok in fear and trembling, and how the Lord has given you deliverance. Give your hearty assent and consent to His salvation, and willingly ascribe all honor to Free Grace only.

We will continue to pray that the Lord will keep you and establish you, that you may stand fast in the liberty wherewith Christ has made you free, and that you may find the breaking of bread and the communion of the saints always fresh to you as you remember His great salvation. The Lord has chastened you, but He has not given you over unto death. Bless the Lord at all times for His tender pity and His mighty arm.
