Those who follow me may remember I once gave this same praise report about being free from masturbation back in March or April 2018. But as I was also battling heavy depression, great loneliness, and heartache at the time, I had relapsed only to battle severe depression 'til March 2019 when I started taking medication to aid me. Today I am a healthier and happier man than I have been in many years, and I am once again free from masturbation. And viewing pornography now has become disgusting to my heart and to my eyes Glory be to God! I also give praise for the Christian ministry God has allowed me to be a part of my college campus and the opportunities he is now presenting before me!

Prayer of Thanks: Father, when I am feeling inferior or condemned, help me to remember who I am in Christ. Thank You that I’m forgiven, accepted, righteous, strong, and able because I am found in You. I thank You, Father, that I am Your child and I am greatly blessed. Today, I choose to think God-honoring thoughts, focusing on Your goodness in my life. I am grateful that I can choose what thoughts I am going to dwell on.
Praise the Lord. Jesus can do wonders for all of us. A lot of my classmates had that problem. At the dorm, they started to maturbate to get their depression and worry out of their minds. But it did not work. I suggested to try Jesus, invited all of them to church and they have gotten saved and the devil did not bring up any masturbation desire anymore. Victory in Jesus. He can do wonders for us.

Thank you for sharing, I have been isolated for many years from community so I would not have known. I believe masturbation is used more than anything else not to make our bodies feel good but our hearts, but we just keep forgetting that it never works.

No matter what we go through if we just do Christ's Instructions especially taking no thought for ourselves we can overcome depression and anxiety for what place does it have in our lives if we don't allow ourselves to think about it? Thoughts leave me for myself in Jesus! Thoughts for pornography leave me in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

A Derek Prince ministries video says Masturbation is not us, our flesh, but a Spirit. He says that you can say to it to leave in Jesus name. He said it gnarls the hands and to put anointed oil on hands and cast it out. I am surprised to learn that many things people do that God doesn't like are caused by a spiritual being. Like an evil spirit can make you lust for someone and fornicate. Its an evil spirit, not just our flesh.
