PRAISE, PRAISE, PRAISE. My son has been distancing himself from me since his daddy moved out with him March 17th. He's a "protector" so he'd hate me if he thought that would protect/prove alliance to his dad. Furthermore, his mom, has been driving a wedge between us since he was 10, when we got custody of him. And since Jimmy and I seperated, she's been pulling the "you don't have to listen to her anymore card."
Anyway, long story short. When I picked him up this morning to take him to school it was dead silent the entire way, up to and including when I told him "I love you, have a good day" as he got out. I spent the ride home in prayer, reminding God how much I love Sam and praying for restoration of this relationship with my son....sooner not later. We've been thru ALOT in 10 years!
JUST found out that Sammy is staying the weekend with me. I will have all 4 of my kids HOME at the same time for 2 days................yea!!!!
GOD IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM TRUSTING IN GOD THAT WE WILL HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND, WITHOUT AN HITCHES!!!!!!!!
