Good and Faithful Servant
Where do I begin. I'll try to keep this to a short novel. But I've got to share. I get debilitating headaches now and then. Had one yesterday, lasted all night. Waking me up every hour or so, trying another remedy, falling asleep while praying for relief and for others and for whatever I could focus on. Dragged myself up at 10 today, still hurting. Had a short devotion, asking the Lord again for relief but accepting whatever He had in store for the day, more pain or maybe able to shake it in a couple hours.
Sat at my desk, couldn't concentrate! Responded to a couple emails and gave up. My sister texted: "Are u I working?" "Yes." Then I left my desk, gave in and took 2 Excedrine even though lately they upset my stomach. Went to lay down again. Texted my sister, "Not working anymore, bad headache." She texted back, "I'm praying 4 u now" I decided to pray with her.
Guess what?! Instant healing. I mean instant. I opened my eyes and realized there was NO pain. Sat up...nothing! Can't recall ever such an immediate and thorough healing in my life. So next I'm crying (joy
) and texting her back. "I'm healed!" She said she knew already. Felt it as she was praying. AWESOME! I believe God can heal, no doubts, just never experienced it like this. Because I know sometimes He doesn't heal, cause He has other purposes at work, so I accept it and endure (not always with the best attitude). Today, His desire was to heal. 100%. I feel amazing. Like the lame getting up and walking. No exaggeration. That's how much pain I was in. So today, I just want to proclaim from the mountaintops, He is near, He hears, and today He chose to heal, that I might sing His praise. God is Good. Everyday He is good. But today well...today I FEEL it inside and out!!!

P.S. Some doubter might say the Ex. had kicked in, but NO. It has never every worked in a couple minutes. Usually takes an hour at least, and doesn't always work, at that. This WAS GOD.
