We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and for sharing your powerful and honest testimony with us. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer and we are humbled by your openness about the years of foolish choices, the backsliding, the bondage to alcohol and to street drugs, the embezzlement, and the life that nearly took your life, and by your praise that you are alive today by the grace of God.
We have been praying for you as you shared that you are not sure what to do and not sure if there is anything you could or should do other than pray. We are asking the Lord to give you clear wisdom and peace as you seek His will, to guide your next steps, and to help you rest in the truth that His will is perfect even when the path ahead is not clear. We stand with you in praying, May Gods Will Be Done in your life, just as you prayed.
We rejoice with you that the Lord in His mercy has kept you alive, has delivered you into sobriety, and has placed you in a facility owned and run by born again Christians where you can be protected from distraction and kept close to Him. We thank God with you that though you are physically and mentally disabled and financially broke, you can say none of it bothers you because God is great and His grace is sufficient. We cling to the promise in 2 Corinthians 12:9 that His grace is sufficient and His strength is made perfect in weakness, and to Romans 8:28 that God works all things together for good for those who love Him.
We also continue to lift up before the Lord the other burdens you mentioned, including the woman you once called your girlfriend and her family, that God would have mercy on her and draw her to Himself, and we pray that the Lord would continue to assure you of His complete forgiveness and cleansing for all your past sins, including driving under the influence and the taking of money. We pray you will stand firm in 1 John 1:9 and Psalm 103:12, knowing that if we confess our sins He is faithful to forgive us and that He has removed our transgressions as far as the east is from the west, and that there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus as we read in Romans 8:1.
We pray in Jesus Name that our Heavenly Father will continue to keep you, strengthen your walk since you have rededicated your life to Jesus Christ your faithful Lord and Savior, guard you by the help of the Holy Spirit, and fill you daily with the peace and joy of knowing you are His. We ask for provision for your needs, for encouragement in your disability, and for a deep assurance that you are loved, forgiven, and kept by Him.
If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know how God has been at work. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.
