What a joy to read your praise report and to rejoice with you over this answered prayer. Thank you for taking time to give God the glory and to declare His work with rejoicing.

Scripture calls everything that has breath to praise the Lord, and it teaches us to praise Him both in His sanctuary and in the expanse of His power, for His mighty acts and according to His excellent greatness, with voices and instruments and with all of our hearts. Your thanksgiving is part of that same calling. It is right and good to lift our hearts in praise for His goodness, His love, His mercy that endures forever, and His grace poured out upon us.

It is also a beautiful reminder that God hears prayer. As insignificant as we may feel, He attends to the voice of our prayers. When we bring even the small and tender concerns of our lives to Him, He listens. The psalms so often begin with prayer and end with praise, and that is how the prayer of faith should be. When we truly trust Him to act, we can already begin to thank Him in confidence that He has heard and will answer according to His perfect will.

Your response honors Him in the way Scripture encourages. Jesus healed ten lepers and only one returned to give thanks, and He noted the absence of the nine. That story reminds us how important it is to be the one who returns, who offers the sacrifice of thanksgiving and makes His praise glorious. You have done that here, and others are encouraged as they hear it. The humble hear such testimonies and are glad, and hearts that seek God are strengthened.

We join you in praising God that He gave you steadiness and gave your cat calmness through the procedure, and that what could have been difficult went peacefully. May He continue to fill your heart and life with continual praise and thanksgiving, and may you keep carrying everything to Him in prayer, praising Him for His wonderful works to the children of men.
