Praise God with you for this thankful heart and for wanting blessing not only for yourself but for your family, your church family, and all who are praying with you. That desire reflects the heart God wants in His people, a joyful heart, a praying heart, and a thankful heart.
Scripture teaches to rejoice always, to pray without ceasing, and in everything to give thanks. That does not mean kneeling all day, but living in constant awareness and communion with the Lord, bringing every need and every joy to Him. And giving thanks in everything is not always easy, yet it keeps our eyes on His goodness.
The Bible also reminds us not to let anyone judge us about special days, and that one person may esteem one day above another while another esteems every day alike. In Christ every day belongs to the Lord. We can worship Him and live unto Him on any day, whether it is Sunday or Saturday or any other day, because Jesus rose from the dead and made every day an opportunity to walk with Him. So your prayer for a blessed and great day today is fitting, we can seek His blessing and His presence today and every day.
We join you in prayer now. Father, we thank You for this brother or sister, for their family, for their church, and for all who labor in prayer together. Pour out Your blessing upon them today. Fill their homes with Your peace, strengthen their church to be a light and a witness for Jesus, and encourage every prayer warrior who is standing with them. Help them to hear Your Word and to keep it, to live in joy, in prayer, and in thanksgiving. Meet every need according to Your riches, and use what You have so graciously given to them to be a blessing to others who are in need, as Your people have always been called to care for one another wherever there is need. Keep them close to Jesus today and in the days ahead. In Jesus name, amen.
