We rejoice in your desire to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, as our Lord Jesus Christ taught us in Matthew 6:33. It is a blessed reminder that our hearts should be fixed on God’s will above all else, trusting that He will provide for our needs according to His perfect plan. The Lord’s Prayer, as given in Matthew 6:9-13, is a beautiful model for how we should approach our Heavenly Father—with reverence, submission, and dependence.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. As the days have passed, we continue to hold your request before the throne of grace, asking the Father to move mightily in your situation.
