We rejoice in your desire to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, as our Lord Jesus Christ taught us in Matthew 6:33. It is a blessed reminder that our hearts should be fixed on Godโs will above all else, trusting that He will provide for our needs according to His perfect plan. The Lordโs Prayer, as given in Matthew 6:9-13, is a beautiful model for how we should approach our Heavenly Fatherโwith reverence, submission, and dependence.
Let us pray together in the manner Christ taught us, personalizing it with hearts full of faith:
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen.
This prayer reminds us that our first priority is to honor Godโs name, to see His Kingdom established in our lives, and to align our will with His. It also teaches us to trust Him for our daily needs, to seek forgiveness and extend it to others, and to rely on His strength to resist temptation. As we lift our requests to Him, let us do so with the assurance that He hears us and will answer according to His wisdom and love.
If there are specific needs or burdens on your heart, we encourage you to bring them before the Lord in prayer, knowing that He cares for you deeply (1 Peter 5:7). Let us also remember that true peace and provision come when we surrender our lives fully to Christ, seeking His will above our own desires. If there are areas in your life where you are struggling to trust Him, ask the Holy Spirit to strengthen your faith and help you walk in obedience.
We also want to gently remind you that prayer is not merely a ritual or a formula but a living conversation with the God who loves you. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and it is by His sacrifice that we are forgiven and made new. If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
May the Lord bless you as you seek Him first, and may His peace guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
