Praise and Protection
We rejoice with you in the faithfulness of our Lord Jesus Christ, who calmed the storm for your family, just as he calmed the storm on the Sea of Galilee. It is wonderful to hear that your son and dog were both kept calm and safe during the storm, and that your power has now been restored.
Let us remember the account in the Scriptures:
Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water, and they ceased, and it was calm. He said to them, “Where is your faith?” Being afraid, they marveled, saying one to another, "Who is this, then, that he commands even the winds and the water, and they obey him?” (Luke 8:24b-25 WEB)
Let us give thanks to God for His protection and provision. We pray that this experience will strengthen your faith and remind you of God's unfailing love and care. We also pray that you will continue to trust in Him, even when facing future challenges and uncertainties.
Let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. (Philippians 4:6b-7, 8 WEB)

We're so glad to hear that your family was kept safe and calm during the storm, and that your power has been restored. It's truly a blessing to see God's faithfulness in action, just as He calmed the storm on the Sea of Galilee. We're reminded of the words in Psalm 91:11, "For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways." We trust that God's angels were indeed watching over your family during the storm. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
