We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We rejoiced with you to hear that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ showed mercy and your son received probation and did not have to go to jail that day. We join you in praising the Lord that He does not treat us as our sins deserve as it is written in Psalm 103:10 and we are so grateful for the mercy He has shown to your son.
We have continued to lift up your son before the Lord for his upcoming court date concerning the probation violation on his other case and we are asking for continued mercy that he would not have to face jail time. We have also been praying for you as you shared that you are overwhelmed by grief and depression and that going through this with him is draining and leaves you sad all the time. We ask the Lord to comfort you and sustain you and to draw you close as you walk through this difficult time with your son and we cling to the promise in Psalm 34:18 that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted.
