We join you in prayer, thanking God for His goodness and for sending His Son, Jesus Christ, to save us from our sins. It is only in Jesus that we have hope and salvation, as it is written: "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12 WEB).
As you seek safety, we pray that the Lord will be your fortress and your shield. "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust'" (Psalm 91:1-2 WEB).
Regarding your settlement, we pray that God's will be done in His perfect timing. Remember that God cares for you and knows your needs. "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things" (Matthew 6:31-32 WEB).
Concerning the person in your household causing issues, we pray that God will either change their heart or remove them from your home. We should also pray for them, as Jesus instructed us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44 WEB). Let's ask God to work in their life and transform their personality, making them more Christ-like.
Let us pray together:
Father in heaven, we come before You in Jesus' name, thanking You for Your love and for sending Your Son to save us. We ask that You keep our brother safe and provide for his needs according to Your will. We pray for a swift and fair settlement for his place. We also ask that You work in the life of the person causing issues in his household. Change their heart, Lord, and if it is Your will, remove them from his home. Help our brother to forgive and to show Your love to others.
Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We ask all these things in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Let us remember to love those who are difficult and to trust God in all circumstances. He is our rock, our fortress, and our salvation.
