We come before the Lord with you in this time of great need, lifting your household, your struggles, and your cry for justice to the throne of grace. The Lord is a strong tower for the righteous, a refuge in times of trouble, and He hears the prayers of His people. You have asked for protection from ill will and harm, for justice in the damage done to your home, and for safety in your work—these are righteous requests that align with God’s heart for His children. Yet we must first address something of great importance: while your prayer is earnest, we notice that the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father, is not invoked. It is only by His name that we can approach God’s throne with confidence, for Scripture declares, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). Additionally, Jesus Himself said, *"No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6, WEB). Without faith in Christ and the authority of His name, our prayers lack the power and assurance that come from being in right relationship with God. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9, WEB). Salvation and the power of prayer begin with repentance and faith in Him alone.
Now, let us turn to the matters you’ve brought before us. The Lord is deeply concerned with justice, and He commands His people to *"execute justice and righteousness in your land"* (Jeremiah 23:5, WEB). Your cry for justice in the damage to your home and the delays in your settlement is heard by Him, for He is a God who *"loves righteousness and justice. The earth is full of the loving kindness of Yahweh"* (Psalm 33:5, WEB). We encourage you to continue seeking resolution through the proper channels while trusting God to act on your behalf. Remember the words of Proverbs 21:15: *"When justice is done, it is joy to the righteous, but terror to evildoers."* The Lord sees the harm done to you, and He will not allow the wicked to triumph forever. *"Don’t fret because of evildoers, neither be envious against those who work unrighteousness. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither like the green herb"* (Psalm 37:1-2, WEB). Trust in Him, and do not take matters into your own hands, for vengeance belongs to the Lord (Romans 12:19).
As for the ill will and bad intentions directed toward your household, we stand with you in rebuking these attacks in the name of Jesus. The Lord is your protector, and *"no weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,” says Yahweh* (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). You are not powerless, for *"the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4, WEB). We plead the blood of Jesus over your home and family, asking the Lord to surround you with His angels, who *"are all serving spirits, sent out to do service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation"* (Hebrews 1:14, WEB). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you *"may have life, and may have it abundantly"* (John 10:10, WEB). Do not fear, for *"Yahweh is your keeper. Yahweh is your shade on your right hand. The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more"* (Psalm 121:5-8, WEB).
Regarding your request for safety at work, we remind you that the Lord is your provider and protector in all things. *"In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:6, WEB). Whether your work is physically demanding, emotionally taxing, or spiritually challenging, the Lord goes before you. *"He gives power to the weak. He increases strength to him who has no might"* (Isaiah 40:29, WEB). Trust in Him daily, and commit your work to His hands, for *"unless Yahweh builds the house, they who build it labor in vain. Unless Yahweh watches over the city, the watchman guards it in vain"* (Psalm 127:1, WEB). Your safety is in His hands, and He will not abandon you.
Finally, we urge you to guard your heart against bitterness or resentment as you wait for justice. It is easy to grow weary when trials persist, but the Lord calls you to *"rejoice in hope; enduring in troubles; continuing steadfastly in prayer"* (Romans 12:12, WEB). Fix your eyes on Jesus, who endured the cross for the joy set before Him (Hebrews 12:2). He is your strength, your justice, and your peace. *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).
Now, let us pray together for you and your household:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious soul and their household to Your throne of grace. Lord, we ask that You surround them with Your divine protection, shielding them from every scheme of the enemy and every ill intention directed toward them. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned. Father, we plead the blood of Jesus over their home, their family, and their lives, declaring that they are covered by Your mercy and grace. Remove every source of harm and evil influence from their midst, and let Your angels encamp around them, guarding them in all their ways.
Lord, we ask for Your justice to prevail in the matter of their home and the settlement they are awaiting. You are a God of righteousness, and You see the harm that has been done. We pray that You would move mightily on their behalf, softening the hearts of those in authority and expediting the resolution they deserve. Let no corrupt or unjust practice delay what is rightfully theirs, and grant them favor in every interaction. Restore to them what has been lost or damaged, and let this situation be a testimony of Your faithfulness and provision.
Father, we also lift up their work to You, asking that You would grant them safety, wisdom, and strength in all they do. Protect them from accidents, harm, or any form of danger, and let Your peace reign in their workplace. Provide for their every need, and let them experience Your presence as they labor. May their work be a blessing and not a burden, and may they glorify You in all they do.
Lord, we rebuked any spirit of fear, anxiety, or discouragement that may be trying to take hold of their heart. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and renew their strength as they wait on You. Help them to trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You are working all things together for their good. Let them find rest in You, and may their faith grow stronger through this trial.
We also pray that if there is any area of their life that is not aligned with Your will, You would convict them by Your Holy Spirit and lead them to repentance. Draw them closer to You, Lord, and let them experience the fullness of Your love and power. If they have not yet surrendered their life to Jesus Christ, we ask that You would open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel and lead them to salvation. Let them know that it is only through Jesus that we have access to You, and that His name is the only name by which we can be saved.
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer. We trust in Your promises and declare Your victory over every area of their life. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in all things. In the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
