Good Morning Family,
"Only be strong and very courageous, being careful to act in accordance with all the law that my servant Moses commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, so that you may be successful wherever you go." - Joshua 1:7
Many of us have a false illusion of what success looks like. We get confused of thinking that success is the reward. What we have...What we possess...What we have achieved. These are the by products of success.
It is true that we cannot have possession, be in the position where God would have us to and still be successful. You may not be experiencing the rewards of this success, but you are still successful. What we must understand is that success is being and remaining faithful to the process. Staying faithful to the process that contributes to the vision becoming a reality. We will often be critical of ourselves because we have defined success as the reward...
Beloved, we are successful when we are faithful. Faithful to the calling...Faithful to the vision...Faithful to the process...We get discouraged along the journey because we have not experienced the by product of the reward. Do not confuse success with the rewards of success.
Joshua in order to receive the promise had to remain faithful to what had been promised...
Joshua had to have some strength and courage to endure what he would encounter...
Joshua must be careful to act in accordance with the instructions because if he did not then others would have been impacted by his disobedience...
Joshua takes the people across the Promised Land but remaining faithful to the process allows them to experience the success necessary to fulfill the vision...
Understand today that God is not calling you today to be successful...God is calling you to be faithful...
"Great is thy faithfulness...morning by morning...new mercies I see...All I have needed...Thy hand has provided...Great is thy faithfulness...Lord unto me...!"
