Good Morning Family,
"He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful." - John 15:2
We will not always get what we want in life. Yes, we seek to be blessed and get the best by product of God's blessings. Is it true that when we pray and ask God that God grants our request we compel that we are in the will of God? The flip side of the coin is that when we pray and God does not answer our request according to our personal wishes that we assess we may not be doing something right.
So, if God grants us what we ask then we have done everything correctly. And if God does not grant us our petition then we are out of order...This may not be the case...
One of the best things that can often happen is that God does not grant our request according to our wishes but according to God's standard. God may not give us what we want to cut off some areas so that we will be fruitful and productive in the future. Fruit has to go through the process and if it is picked before its time then its fruitfulness will not reach its potential...
Beloved, understand that at some point we must go through the pruning process so that our lives produce fruitful character. It is not so much about the by product of the blessing we should be so concerned about. It is the character process that God will take us through so that we display the virtues of Christ. This process can only take place when some things get cut off and some areas of our lives are pruned for fruitfulness...
"Lord I give you my heart...I give you my soul...take control of me..."
