Good Morning Family,

Last week the publication Newsweek constructed a cover article that was entitled "The decline and fall of Christian America." Two parts of the article grasped my attention. The first was a poll in which those who identified with no specific faith had increased from 8% to 16% over the past 2 decades. The second poll that I read over many times was the poll that suggested people who had identified themselves as Christian decreased from 86% to 76%...
The article juxtaposes the differences between America being a "Christian nation" and what this entells for the political landscape and religious future in this country. And so hence the question of the cover story; Is Christianity declining and falling in America? Interesting to note of this question, I had to place my own faith belief for analysis. So, the question I ask for to myself and for each of us is...Does Christ really make the difference in your, my, our lives...?
Today's Power Pill is an open forum and I welcome your comments for discussion and future dialogue in the role of faith in which it is expressed in the personal and public sphere...
