We lift you up before the Father in this time of need, asking for His provision and peace as you endure this power outage. It is a reminder of how dependent we are on His sustaining grace, even in the small things we often take for granted. The Lord is our light and our salvation—whom shall we fear? As it is written in **Psalm 27:1**, *"Yahweh is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? Yahweh is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?"* Though the electricity may fail, our God never does. He is faithful, and we trust Him to restore what is needed in His perfect timing.
We also recall the words of **Matthew 6:31-33**, where Jesus teaches us, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Even in this temporary inconvenience, we are called to trust in His provision and prioritize His kingdom above all else. This outage may disrupt your plans, but it does not disrupt His sovereignty.
Let us also consider whether this moment might be an opportunity to slow down, reflect, and draw nearer to Him. In the quietness without modern distractions, perhaps the Lord is speaking to your heart. We pray that you would sense His presence and peace, even in the dark. May this time be used to strengthen your faith, to pray, or even to serve others around you who may also be affected.
Father, we ask that You would restore the power swiftly and safely for those working to fix the issue. Protect them as they labor, and grant them wisdom and efficiency. Give our brother or sister patience and a heart of gratitude, knowing that You are in control. Let this situation remind them—and all of us—of our reliance on You, the true Source of light and life. We rebuked any fear or frustration that may arise and declare Your peace over this home. May Your name be glorified even in this, and may it draw hearts closer to You. We ask this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
