Disciple of Prayer
Hi everyone 🤍 I would really appreciate your prayers during this postpartum season. Please pray for complete healing and restoration over my body—that all pain, inflammation, discomfort, and pressure would go away and that my body would recover fully and properly after giving birth. Please pray that God gives me strength, peace, patience, and protection throughout this healing process. I’m asking Him to restore every part of my body, bring everything back into balance, and give me comfort physically, mentally, and emotionally. I trust that God is with me through this season and that His healing hand is over me. Please pray for a smooth and complete recovery, renewed strength each day, and peace instead of fear or worry. Thank you so much for keeping me in your prayers. 🙏🏻🤍

We join you in thanking God for the precious new life He has entrusted to you and we lift you up together before Him in this postpartum season. Children are a heritage of Yahweh, the fruit of the womb is his reward Psalm 127:3 and we rejoice with you in this gift while we also bring your healing and restoration before the Lord.

We pray together for your body, that the Lord who formed you and knit you together in your mother's womb Psalm 139:13 would touch every area that is still painful or inflamed and bring complete healing. We ask Him to take away pain, inflammation, discomfort and pressure, to restore every part, to bring everything back into balance and to grant a smooth and complete recovery. For we know He is Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26 and His promise is that He will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds Jeremiah 30:17. We ask that He renew your strength each day, for He gives power to the weak and to him who has no might He increases strength Isaiah 40:29.

We also pray for your heart and mind in this season. We ask the Father to give you His strength, peace, patience and protection, to comfort you physically, mentally and emotionally, and to guard you from fear or worry. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1 and we ask Him to let His peace which surpasses all understanding guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. We pray that you may cast all your worries on Him, because He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7 and that you will feel His presence with you each day, for He has said do not be afraid, for I am with you Isaiah 41:10.

Father in heaven, we bring our sister before Your throne together in the name of Jesus. We ask for Your healing hand to be upon her, to ease every pain and to restore her body fully and properly after giving birth. Bring healing to tissues and muscles, reduce inflammation, relieve pressure and discomfort, and bring her hormones and all systems back into healthy balance. Grant her deep and restful sleep when she can rest, renewed strength each morning, comfort in her body and calm in her mind. Fill her with Your peace instead of fear, with patience for the slow work of healing, and with protection over her and her little one. Let her feel Your nearness and Your comfort through this season and let her recovery be complete according to Your will. In the name of Jesus we pray, amen.

We gently want to encourage you about something we noticed in your request. You spoke beautifully of trusting God and His healing hand, yet you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to remind you together that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, for Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is because Jesus died for our sins and rose again that we can boldly bring every need, including healing and restoration, to God. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust in Him and to come to God in prayer in the name of Jesus, and we will continue to seek Him together with you in that precious name.

We encourage you to allow yourself time to heal and to receive help. This postpartum season is one where your body, mind and emotions all need grace and rest. Lean on the Lord daily, lean on your husband and family if He has provided them, and on your church community, and do not hesitate to follow wise medical counsel, for God often works through those means as well. Continue to bring every worry to Him in prayer, to rest when you can, to nourish your body, and to meditate on His promises.

We are holding you in prayer for complete healing, renewed strength, and abiding peace, trusting that the Lord who has begun this good work in you and in your child will be faithful to carry it through.

Thank you for letting us share this postpartum season with you in prayer. We hear your longing for healing and for your body to feel restored and at ease again, and for strength and peace to carry you through each day.

The weeks after birth can feel so vulnerable. Your body is recovering while you are also giving so much to your newborn, often on very little rest. It is understandable that ongoing pain, pressure or discomfort would leave you feeling weary or worried as you wait for things to settle.

We want you to know we are holding you before the Lord and asking Him to be near to you in both body and spirit. If pain, inflammation, pressure or other symptoms persist or worry you, please reach out promptly to your OB, midwife or primary care provider for care alongside prayer. It can also help to let a trusted loved one or friend know how you are really doing so you have support close by and do not have to carry this alone.

Father, we bring our sister to You in Jesus' name. We ask for Your gentle healing over her body, for renewed strength each day, and for deep peace and patience as she recovers. Comfort her physically, mentally and emotionally, guard her from fear, and keep her and her baby in Your protection. Let her sense Your nearness and care in this season. In Jesus' name, amen.

We lift you up before the throne of grace in this tender postpartum season and join our prayers with yours for complete healing and restoration.

We ask the Lord Himself to lay His healing hand upon you, for it is He who says, I will strengthen them in the Lord. All strength of every sort comes from God, and He gives power to the faint and to them that have no might He increases strength. We pray that He would impart strength to you fitly and wisely balanced, that He would take away pain, inflammation, discomfort and pressure, and restore every part of your body and bring it back into balance according to His good design.

We pray too that as you wait upon the Lord He would renew your strength day by day. Human strength spends itself and must fail, but they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. Wonder not if recovery should be slow, and as you grow a little stronger acknowledge in each increase of strength that the Lord has a new claim upon your affection. Whenever you feel that what is before you is beyond you, breathe a prayer for more strength, for His grace is sufficient and His strength is made perfect in weakness.

We ask the Lord to keep you in perfect peace, that peace which is found when the mind is stayed upon Him because it trusts in Him. May the blood of Jesus whisper peace within you, and may that peace guard you physically, mentally and emotionally, driving away fear and worry and giving you patience and comfort. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, whose leaves are for the healing of the nations, and even the least thing about Christ is healing to the soul and to the body. May you know that healing virtue applied to you, changing and refreshing you as only He can.

We pray for your protection through this healing process, for renewed strength each morning, for comfort in body and quietness in spirit, and for the assurance that being justified by faith you have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. When all your own strength fails you, may your strength be to sit still and know that God Himself will be your arm every morning and your salvation in time of trouble.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ our only hope and healer, grant to our sister a smooth and complete recovery, restore her fully and properly after giving birth, and let her prove daily that You are the glory of her strength. Amen.
