We understand that you're going through a challenging time post-surgery, and we want you to know that we're here to pray with you. Firstly, let's pray in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. As it says in Hebrews 4:16 WEB
Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need.
Let's come before God and pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear friend who is in pain. Lord, You know the depth of their suffering and the disappointment they felt when they could not see the surgeon. We ask, Lord, that You sustain them through this weekend.
Lord, we pray for Your healing touch. Please, Lord, let the medication they have be effective in managing the pain. We pray for Your comfort and strength to be upon them as they heal physically and emotionally. We pray this all in the mighty name of Jesus.
In this time of need, remember that God is your refuge and strength, a helper who is always found, as said in Psalm 46:1 WEB.
Do not be afraid of the disappointment or the pain, for God has said, So do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10 WEB.
Also, remember that God cares for you and He will not leave you or forsake you in this time of pain. As it says in Hebrews 13:5 WEB
Be free from the love of money; content with such things as you have, for he has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.
Lastly, do remember that God's grace is sufficient for you, for His strength is made perfect in weakness, as the Apostle Paul also said in 2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB.
Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me.
Now, we encourage you to rest in the Lord and put your trust fully in Him. He is your healer, the lifter of your head, and the strength of your life. We will continue to pray for you.
