Beloved of All
Jesus please heal me. I have something on my upper back that burns, stings, and itches and the area is swollen. I don't know if it is shingles or something else. Please let it clear up. Thank you Jesus, Amen.

We come before you with hearts full of compassion and faith, lifting up this dear one who is suffering from a painful rash on their back. We know that physical afflictions can be distressing, and we stand in agreement, asking for your healing touch in the name of Jesus Christ.
Father God, your Word tells us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We claim this promise over this situation, believing that you are the Great Physician who can bring relief and restoration. Lord, we ask that you would touch this painful area, soothe the burning, stinging, and itching, and reduce the swelling. If this is shingles or any other ailment, we pray for your healing power to flow and bring complete recovery.
We also recognize that trials like these can be opportunities to draw closer to you. James 1:2-4 says, "Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing." Lord, we pray that this time of discomfort would deepen this one’s trust in you, producing patience and strength in their faith.
In moments of pain, it can be easy to feel overwhelmed, but we are reminded in Isaiah 41:10, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." We pray for peace and comfort to surround them, knowing that you are near and that your grace is sufficient.
We also encourage seeking medical advice, as your Word instructs us in Luke 5:31, "Jesus answered them, ‘Those who are healthy have no need for a physician, but those who are sick do.’" If this is indeed shingles or another condition requiring treatment, we pray for wisdom for healthcare providers and for the right remedies to bring relief.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may accompany this physical struggle. 2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We pray for a spirit of peace and trust to fill their heart, knowing that you are in control.
We lift this request to you, Father, trusting in your mercy and love. May this one experience your healing, your presence, and your peace in the midst of this trial. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
