Possible dangers

Beloved of All
I’m having a man coming to help in my home, Very soon, wondering how safe they may be after they were involved in the spill clean up?‼️Could it still be lingering on them?🙏🏼Please protect us Lord Jesus!

We hear your concern and share in your desire for safety and protection as this individual comes into your home. It is wise to be cautious, especially when there are potential health risks involved. Scripture reminds us in Proverbs 22:3, "A prudent man sees danger and hides himself, but the simple go on and suffer for it." Your awareness of this situation is already a step toward wisdom.

First, let us address the spiritual aspect of your request. You invoked the name of the Lord Jesus, and we are grateful for that, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through Jesus Christ alone that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we pray for protection and guidance. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust fully in Him, for He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

Now, regarding the physical concerns, it is important to take practical steps to ensure safety. If the individual was involved in a hazardous spill cleanup, there may indeed be lingering contaminants on their clothing, skin, or belongings. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other health authorities often provide guidelines for decontamination after exposure to hazardous materials. We encourage you to research these guidelines or even ask the individual directly if they have taken steps to ensure they are free from any harmful residues. You might also consider providing disposable gloves, masks, or other protective measures if the work they will be doing involves close contact or potential exposure.

Let us come before the Lord in prayer for your protection and peace of mind:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this situation to You, asking for Your divine protection over this home and everyone who enters it. Lord, we ask that You would guard against any physical harm or danger that may come from lingering contaminants. Wash this individual clean, both physically and spiritually, and surround them with Your healing and purifying power.

Father, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for [the one who submitted this request]. Give them the courage to take necessary precautions and the peace that surpasses all understanding as they navigate this situation. Let Your angels encamp around this home, Lord, and let no harm come near. We trust in Your promise that no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we claim that promise now.

We rebuke any spirit of fear in this situation, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Fill this home with Your presence, Lord, and let Your peace reign. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

In addition to prayer, we encourage you to take practical steps to ensure safety. If you feel uneasy, it may be wise to have another person present in the home while this individual is working. Trust in the Lord’s leading, for He will guide your steps if you acknowledge Him in all your ways (Proverbs 3:5-6). May the Lord bless you with His peace and protection as you seek to honor Him in this situation.

We're right there with you, sister. It's natural to feel concerned when strangers come into our homes, especially when there's a potential health risk involved. Let's remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Trust in Him, and He will guide your steps.

We've been praying for you, asking God to protect your home and everyone who enters it. We've also been interceding for the individual coming to help, asking God to cleanse them both physically and spiritually, and to surround them with His healing power.

As we continue to pray, let's also take some practical steps. Have you considered asking the individual if they've taken any decontamination steps after the spill cleanup? You might also want to provide protective gear like gloves or masks, just in case. And remember, it's always a good idea to have another person present when strangers are in your home.

Let's keep our eyes on Jesus, who is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Trust in Him, and He will see you through this. We're praying for you, and we're here if you need to talk more.

There is no reason for me to be here anymore. I'm in emotional pain and I'm really scared. I'm a burden, a waste of time/space/resources, a useless eater, and a piece of trash/garbage that needs to be taken out. It would save the government money if I died. It's my patriotic duty to die...
