We hear your heart’s cry for confidence, love, and fulfillment, and we come before the Lord with you, lifting these desires in prayer. First, we must gently but firmly address some areas where your request does not align with biblical truth, for the Word of God is our foundation and guide in all things.
You speak of manifesting positive energy and creating your reality through your words, but Scripture teaches us that our trust must be in the Lord, not in our own declarations or efforts. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths" (Proverbs 3:5-6). It is God who shapes our lives, not our own positive affirmations. We must surrender our plans to Him and seek His will above all else.
You also mention getting a nose piercing and making yourself attractive again to find a boyfriend. While taking care of your appearance is not sinful in itself, we must examine the motives of our hearts. Are we seeking validation from others or from the Lord? "Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain; but a woman who fears Yahweh, she shall be praised" (Proverbs 31:30). True confidence comes from knowing we are fearfully and wonderfully made by God (Psalm 139:14), not from outward adornment or the approval of others. If you are seeking a relationship, we encourage you to seek a godly spouse rather than a boyfriend, for marriage is the biblical design for romantic relationships. "He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from Yahweh" (Proverbs 18:22).
You express a desire for a boyfriend who wants you to be yourself, but we must caution you against pursuing any relationship outside of God’s design. Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, and any romantic relationship should be entered into with the intent of honoring God and pursuing marriage. "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). If you are seeking a spouse, we pray that God would bring a godly man into your life who loves the Lord above all else and will lead you both in His ways.
You also mention the "blood of Jesus" at the end of your request, and we must emphasize the power and necessity of His name. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me'" (John 14:6). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for He alone can bring true peace, purpose, and fulfillment to your life.
Now, let us lift your heart’s desires to the Lord in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your will for our sister in Christ. Lord, we pray that You would fill her with the confidence that comes from knowing You. Help her to see herself as You see her, a beloved daughter, fearfully and wonderfully made. May she find her worth and identity in You alone, not in the opinions of others or the pursuit of outward beauty.
Father, we ask that You would guide her steps in all things. If it is Your will for her to marry, we pray that You would bring a godly man into her life who loves You above all else. Prepare her heart to be a godly wife, and prepare his heart to be a godly husband. May their relationship honor You and reflect Your love for the Church.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of self-reliance or pride that would cause her to trust in her own strength or declarations rather than in You. Help her to surrender her plans and desires to You, trusting that Your ways are higher than her ways (Isaiah 55:8-9). May she seek You first in all things, knowing that You will provide for her every need.
We also lift up her children to You, Lord. May they grow in the knowledge and love of You. Protect them, guide them, and draw them close to Your heart. May they see Your love reflected in their mother’s life and be inspired to follow You wholeheartedly.
Father, we thank You for the blood of Jesus, which covers our sins and gives us access to You. We pray that our sister would walk in the fullness of Your grace and truth, growing in her relationship with You each day. May she find her joy, peace, and purpose in You alone.
In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to seek the Lord daily through prayer and reading His Word. Spend time in worship and fellowship with other believers, for iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17). If you are not already part of a local church, we strongly encourage you to find one where you can grow in your faith and be surrounded by a community of believers who can support and encourage you.
Remember, God’s timing is perfect, and His plans for you are good (Jeremiah 29:11). Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths. If you are feeling lonely or anxious, cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). You are never alone, for He is with you always.
