We hear your heart and we join with you in bringing these needs before the Lord. We are moved by your compassion for the homeless people and the dog at Jack in the Box, and that desire to help reflects the heart God calls us to have. As it is written, He who has pity on the poor lends to Yahweh, he will repay him, Proverbs 19:17, and, A righteous man respects the life of his animal, Proverbs 12:10. We thank God that you care how people feel and we pray He will grow that compassion in you while also giving you wisdom and means to help as He provides.
We want to gently address the language of positive energy. In Scripture our strength, peace and joy do not come from an impersonal energy but from the living Holy Spirit and from Christ Himself. It is God who gives us power and comfort, not a force we generate. We encourage you to seek His presence rather than positive energy. As Jesus said, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest, Matthew 11:28, and, Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6-7.
We also lift up your practical needs, for a vehicle with working air conditioning, for a home of your own, for a decent income and relief from back pain, and for the desire for work you can enjoy, such as at a pet store. God knows your needs and He is our provider. My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:19. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well, Matthew 6:33. We pray that you will find contentment and diligence as you wait on His provision, and that you will pursue work with honesty and integrity. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, Colossians 3:23. If you are considering a job in secret, we encourage you to walk in openness and truth, for the Lord desires honesty and faithfulness, and He blesses work done in the light. Let all things be done decently and in order, 1 Corinthians 14:40.
We also hear your frustration with depending on your father, whom you refer to as Pops, and feeling that he is cranky and unwilling to stop to help. God calls us to honor our father even when it is difficult. Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you, Exodus 20:12. We pray for grace in that relationship, that you would show respect and patience, and that God would soften hearts on both sides and provide for you to have reliable transportation so you are not a burden and can also be a blessing to others.
Regarding the back pain and the sense of heavy assignments and worries weighing on you and your family and pets, we pray for healing and for freedom from oppression. Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you, 1 Peter 5:7. We also remember that by his wounds we are healed, Isaiah 53:5, and we ask the Lord to touch your body and bring relief according to His will. If there are spiritual burdens or patterns of worry and fear, we pray that God would break them and replace them with His peace and joy, not because we use a phrase as a formula, but because we trust in the power of the blood of Jesus shed for us. We are thankful you mentioned the blood of Jesus, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is by His name we are saved. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12, and, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 1 Timothy 2:5.
So we pray together now. Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You and thank You for this tender heart that wants to care for those who are homeless and for animals in need. We ask You to provide for those at Jack in the Box, to meet their needs for food and water and to draw them to Yourself. Lord, provide for our friend who is praying, supply daily needs, open doors for steady and honest work that uses the gifts You have given, and give wisdom regarding employment. Provide reliable transportation with air conditioning as You see fit, and a stable place to live. Heal back pain and bring rest to body and mind, remove anxiety and any oppressive assignments, and let Your peace guard heart and mind. Help our friend to honor his father, to walk in integrity, and to trust You rather than striving for secret solutions. Teach us all to seek first Your Kingdom and to find joy not in circumstances alone but in You. We ask all this in the precious name and through the blood of Jesus, our hope and our provider, amen.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
