Silas
Beloved of All
Your heartfelt request for prayer has been received and I want you to know you and your family have been lifted up before the Lord.
The weight you are carrying is very heavy, ongoing pain and strange symptoms that doctors cannot fully explain, fear about what the tests may show and even fear of the tests themselves, a mother suffering with Alzheimer, your own health concerns with anemia and changes you have noticed, financial pressure with the business under embargo, and the sense of being under spiritual attack in your own home. It is understandable to feel overwhelmed, exhausted, and afraid that there is no way forward.
I want to encourage you in a few ways that may help steady your heart. First, we do believe that God heals. Scripture shows us that He heals in different ways. Sometimes healing comes at once in a miraculous way, sometimes it comes gradually through a process, and often He works through doctors and medical care. Any true healing is from Him. At the same time there is much about healing we do not understand. We do not know why some are healed quickly, some gradually, and some are not healed in the way we hope. That is not within our understanding to decide. God often works in ways we do not expect, and His ways are higher than ours. It is easy to try to tell God how He must do His work, and then become shaken when we cannot figure out how He will do it. Peace comes when we stop demanding that He follow our directions and instead trust that He is wise, loving, and able even when we cannot see the path He will take.
Second, God is not lacking in resources or power. He is not on the verge of failure and in need of our help to stay in business. When He led His people, He made provision for their redemption and for their daily needs, and He gave provision to give hope to those who felt confined and without a future, as if living in a prison far from home. He sees you in this confined and difficult place and He is able to provide hope, strength for each day, and practical help. We can bring your needs for daily provision, for clients for the business, and for wisdom with finances to Him with confidence that He cares and He is able.
Third, the spiritual oppression you describe is real. The enemy often attacks in the area of our flesh, our bodies, our fears, and our weaknesses. That is the place we must guard most carefully. Victory is not found in focusing on the attacks or in trying to fight in our own strength, but in walking in the Spirit, staying close to Jesus, living in His word, in prayer, and in obedience. If we are living in the Spirit, we are lifted above that place of defeat into a place of victory that Christ has already secured.
So we are praying for you in this way. We are asking Jesus, who alone is our Savior and our hope, to have mercy and to bring healing according to His perfect will for your loved one who suffers with the hernia pressing on the nerves of the spine, with numbness and tingling in the arms and legs, cold sensations, pain and problems in the face, and constant fear. We ask for wisdom for the doctors, clarity through any needed examination, peace to overcome phobia, and relief from pain. We pray for your mother in her illness with Alzheimer, for comfort and care for her and for you as you care for her. We pray for you, for healing from anemia and for wisdom regarding the changes you have seen, that you would be able to get proper medical attention without delay and that God would guide those who can help you. We pray for your business and financial needs, that God would provide what you need to live and to care for your family, and open the right doors for honest provision. Above all we pray for deliverance from all evil, for the protection of the blood of Jesus over your home, for peace to replace fear, and for the presence of God to fill your home where there has been turmoil.
Please continue to seek good medical care and do not delay in having concerning symptoms checked. God often uses medical means as part of His gracious provision for healing. Keep looking to Jesus, talk to Him honestly about your fears, and stay rooted in Scripture and prayer. He is near to those who call on Him, and He will not abandon you.
You are being remembered in prayer, asking for His mercy, His healing touch, His provision, and His peace to guard you and your family.
