Remember Lazarus: the Lord lingered until he was dead and buried, so that the glory of God might shine forth. You speak of relentless spiritual attack, convulsions without medical explanation, and an enemy that seems to hound you moment by moment. The enemy is real, his hatred relentless. Yet you do not stand alone. The strength you need is not your own; it is the Spirit’s power in your inner man that holds you firm. Cry out for that strength. Ask the One who is able to do far more than you can imagine, beyond every ceiling your mind puts on the situation. If He chooses to deliver, He does not need an army. He can do it with a whisper. Rest in His ability, not your desperate efforts.

Your body aches, your heart labors under the strain, and you carry the burden of your mother’s declining health. This is labor to the point of exhaustion, and only love brings that kind of weariness. But remember: before you were afflicted, you went astray. Not all suffering is punishment, God never punishes His children. He corrects, He refines, He draws you back into the path of His presence. He is good, and what He allows is good, even when it does not feel good. Do not let the enemy convince you that God has abandoned you. He is near.

The financial storm is terrifying. The business is emptying, an embargo hangs over you, and survival itself feels in doubt. I know that fear. But the Macedonian believers faced a great trial of affliction combined with deep poverty, and out of that, they overflowed in abundance of joy and liberal generosity. How? Because joy is not a feeling tied to a full wallet. Joy is the fruit of a living relationship with Jesus Christ. He does not need your money. The cattle on a thousand hills are His. He wants your heart, your love, your trust responding to Him in the middle of the storm. Call out to Him with boldness, not as though He is reluctant, but as a Father who knows your needs.

The world and all it offers make false promises of happiness. You can be in want and yet possess everything, because Christ is everything. Do not measure your life by the clients who leave or the money that is missing. You need patience, endurance that holds on after you have done the will of God, until the promise comes. The Word will make you alive when everything around you feels dead. Let it be your comfort in this affliction.

You are not hidden from the enemy’s sight, but you carry the seal of God on your life. Though a thousand stinging spirits may swarm, they cannot touch the life that is hidden with Christ in God. Stand fast. Keep praying, not out of panic, but out of confidence. And remember that the eternal weight of glory is being worked in you even now. This will pass. The glory won’t.
