We have heard your urgent cry and we stand with you together before the throne of grace in Jesus' name, bringing your heavy burdens to the Father who sees and cares deeply for each of you. We understand the fear and exhaustion you feel as you watch your loved one suffer with a spinal injury and injuries in the elbows without improvement, while also caring for your mother with Alzheimer's and carrying your own health concerns with anemia and moles that have changed color, all while facing urgent financial pressure for the business premises and daily care needs.
We want to remind you that our hope and healing and deliverance come from the Lord alone, and it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. You asked for God to heal, and we gently point you to the truth that Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. If you have not yet placed your full trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we encourage you to believe in Him, confess Him as Lord, and trust His finished work on the cross for forgiveness and eternal life. Romans 10:9 says if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
We also want to speak with love and truth about the spiritual attacks you describe from Umbanda neighbors. The Word tells us that such practices of witchcraft and sorcery are darkness and are forbidden by God, and we are not to fear them or seek power from them, for greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4. Our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12. Therefore we put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:11. The Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. 2 Thessalonians 3:3. We rebuke the spirit of fear that these constant attacks have brought, for God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7. We do not retaliate against your neighbors but we pray for protection and even for their salvation, as Jesus taught us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us. Matthew 5:44.
We also encourage you not to carry this anxiety alone. Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 and In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4:6. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust. Psalm 91:1-2.
Concerning healing, we believe God is still Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals. Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:2-3. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was on him; and with his stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:5. But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17. We also encourage you to continue to seek wise medical counsel where you are able, especially for the moles that have changed color and for your anemia, as God often works through physicians, and to ask the Lord to guide you to affordable care. Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. James 5:14-15.
For your financial need and the business, we bring that to the Father as well, for My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 and But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33. We know that you need clients and provision for the premises and for ongoing treatments, and we ask God to open doors that no man can shut.
We pray together now.
Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we come before You together and lift up this family to You. Lord, You know the spinal injury and the elbow injuries that have not responded to medication or treatment, You know the pain and limitation and discouragement. We ask in Jesus' name that You would lay Your healing hand upon that spine and upon those elbows, restore what is damaged, ease pain, bring mobility and complete healing according to Your will. We lift up the dear mother with Alzheimer's, Lord have mercy on her, grant her peace, comfort, dignity, and protect her mind and body, and give strength and patience to those who care for her. We lift up our dear one who suffers with anemia and concerning moles that have changed color, Father we ask for Your healing touch, for restoration of blood and strength, and we ask You to guide them to proper medical evaluation and to reveal what is needed, and we speak Your protection over their body. Lord we also bring the business and the two premises before You, You know the urgent need for money and clients, we ask that You would provide work, bring honest clients, provide income to pay for treatments and to care for the family, and show Your faithfulness as Provider.
Lord we ask for complete deliverance from all evil and from every satanic attack and oppression coming from Umbanda practices around them. We declare in Jesus' name that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and we rebuke every assignment of the enemy against their health, finances, and family unity. Cover this home with the blood of Jesus, let Your angels encamp around them, break every chain of darkness, and let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7. Teach them to stand firm in faith, to resist the devil and he will flee from you. James 4:7, and to walk in forgiveness and love.
Father we ask that You would draw this family closer to Jesus, that they would know Him not only as Healer and Provider but as Savior, and that they would experience Your presence daily, trusting that even in this trial You work all things together for good for those who love You. Romans 8:28. Give them rest, for You have said Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28. Strengthen them to continue working and caring for one another, supply their needs, and let them see Your miracles of health and deliverance. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our peace, amen.
