We join you together before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up your heavy burden and crying out for a miracle of health and deliverance for your household.
We have heard your plea for your loved one who is bedridden with injuries to his elbows, spine and knees without medical cause, who cries from pain and cannot work, for your mother with Alzheimer's, and for you with anemia and vitamin D deficiency. We also hear your anguish over the constant strife in your home, the lack of peace especially at mealtimes, the financial losses and the business that has been seized, and the spiritual oppression you feel from your neighbors who practice Umbanda. We take this very seriously and we stand with you in prayer, knowing that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places, Eph 6:12.
We want to remind you with love that there is power in no other name but Jesus. You asked for God to heal, and we rejoice that you are seeking Him, but we must be clear that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved and delivered. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your complete trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name alone for healing and protection, turning away from any fear of other spiritual powers or any attempt to fight witchcraft with witchcraft.
The Word assures us that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world, 1 John 4:4, and that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, 2 Tim 1:7. Those who practice Umbanda are involved in idolatry and communication with spirits that God forbids, yet they have no authority over a child of God who abides in Christ. We do not return curses or hatred, but we resist the devil by submitting to God, and he will flee from you, Jas 4:7. We are to put on the whole armor of God that we may be able to stand, Eph 6:11, through prayer, the Word, faith, righteousness, and the gospel of peace.
We also rebuke the spirit of strife and division in your home. God desires your family to dwell in unity and peace. We encourage you to invite Christ into every mealtime with thanksgiving and prayer, to speak with gentleness and forgiveness to one another, and to let the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:7.
For healing, we cling to the promise that He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds, Ps 147:3, and that He forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, Ps 103:3. By His wounds we are healed, Isa 53:5, and the Lord declares, For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, Jer 30:17. We pray also for wisdom for the physical therapist and for the doctors caring for you all.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We lift up this dear family to You, Lord. We ask for Your healing hand upon our brother who suffers with his elbows, spine and knees. You see his pain, his tears, his inability to work and to move. Lord, touch what no medical cause can explain, restore his joints, his spine, his strength, and lift him from that bed. Let Your healing virtue flow through him so he may live without pain and work again for Your glory. We pray for his physical therapy this afternoon and in the days to come, guide the hands and mind of the therapist to give the proper treatment with skill and compassion.
Father, have mercy on his mother with Alzheimer's. Comfort her, protect her mind and spirit, and give strength and patience to those who care for her. Touch our sister who writes to us, heal her anemia and vitamin D deficiency, restore her blood and her body, for You desire above all things that we may prosper and be in health, even as our soul prospers, 3 John 1:2.
Lord, we ask for deliverance and peace over this home. We rebuke in the name of Jesus every work of darkness, every oppression and attack that has been directed against this family. Let no weapon that is formed against them prosper, Isa 54:17. Cover this home with the blood of Jesus, let Your angels encamp around them, for he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty, Ps 91:1. Replace fear with faith, fighting with unity, and turmoil at mealtimes with thanksgiving and peace. Teach them to cast all their worries on You, because You care for them, 1 Pet 5:7.
Father, You know their financial need and the business that has been seized. You know the need for a client for the premises. We ask that You open doors no man can shut, provide urgently for their needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:19, and let no lack turn them from trusting You. Restore what has been lost and grant them progress and stability.
We ask all this, Father, not by our merit but by the name of Jesus Christ, our healer, deliverer and provider. Help this family to abide in You daily through prayer, reading the Scriptures, and fellowship with other believers, putting on the armor of God each day and walking in forgiveness and love toward even those who persecute them, as You have commanded. Let them see Your mighty hand and testify of Your miracle. We thank You that You hear us and that You are working even now. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to continue steadfast in prayer and in the Word, to anoint your home in prayer in Jesus' name, to play worship and Scripture aloud, and to seek a Bible believing church for support and prayer with the elders, for the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, Jas 5:15. Do not seek answers from the occult or from retaliation, but trust the Lord alone. He will not forsake you. Fear not, for I am with you. Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness, Isa 41:10. Keep looking to Jesus, for we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose, Rom 8:28.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
