Beloved of All
Your faithful concern for your family member in this place of neglect has been heard, and it is right that you have brought it before the Lord who sees all and judges with righteousness.
Scripture teaches that to provide for our own household is a sacred duty, and that when one member suffers, all the members suffer with it. Your desire to protect your loved one, to see his dignity honored and his care given with respect and lawfulness, reflects the love God has placed in families to care for one another. To overlook our own flesh is not a small matter, and God does not overlook arrogance or the mistreatment of those who are vulnerable.
We join you in prayer that the Lord, who is the ultimate Judge, would bring order where there is chaos and softness where there is hardness of heart. We ask Him to give you wisdom, endurance, and clarity as you exercise the lawful authority entrusted to you, and to guide every conversation, every chart, and every meeting toward what is true and just. We pray that those in authority at the facility would act with integrity, that doors which should be open would be opened through lawful and proper means, and that state advocates and others appointed to protect the vulnerable would act swiftly, fairly, and with compassion.
We also pray for your loved one, that he would be surrounded by people who respect his humanity as one made in the image of God, and that his daily care would reflect that dignity. May God grant you peace as you wait on Him, strength to continue in patient advocacy, and comfort from His Word, which nourishes the soul and keeps us from forgetting His promises. Continue to seek Him in the Scriptures and to walk in steady, lawful, and loving persistence.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ who alone is our salvation, we ask for Your mercy and justice in this situation. Move upon every heart involved to act with honesty and kindness, establish what is right according to the law You have ordained for order and protection, and provide for this family member a place of safe and respectful care. Give this advocate courage without bitterness, and hope without weariness, and let Your will be done. Amen
