We join with you in this burden for your loved one and we hear the anguish and righteous concern in your prayer for justice and protection. The Lord sees what is done in secret and He has a special care for those who are vulnerable and cannot speak for themselves. We are reminded of His heart when He says, Prov 31:8-9 Open your mouth for the mute, in the cause of all who are left desolate. Open your mouth, judge righteously, and serve justice to the poor and needy. And also Psalm 82:3-4 Defend the weak, the poor, and the fatherless. Maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed. Rescue the weak and needy. Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.
It is right that you are standing in the gap as an advocate, and Scripture tells us that God Himself has established lawful authority for order and protection, Rom 13:1 Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. When a facility resists lawful authority given to protect a family member, we can pray that God will move upon hearts and upon systems to bring compliance and respect for both the law and for human dignity made in His image.
We also remember the parable of the persistent widow in Luke 18:1-5 who kept coming to the judge until justice was done, and how much more our heavenly Father hears us when we cry out day and night, Luke 18:7-8 Won't God avenge his chosen ones, who are crying out to him day and night, and yet he exercises patience with them? I tell you that he will avenge them quickly. Your persistence in prayer and in lawful advocacy is not in vain.

Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and we lift up this loved one who is vulnerable and in need of Your protection, and we lift up the one You have entrusted to advocate for him. Lord, You see every chart, every closed door, every meeting and every act of neglect or arrogance. Nothing is hidden from Your eyes, Psalm 10:14 You have seen it, for you behold mischief and spite, to repay with your hand. We ask that You soften and command the hearts of those in authority at this facility, that walls of resistance would come down and that they would comply swiftly and fully with the lawful authority You have placed in this advocate's hands. Let every medical record and every door be opened as is right and lawful, and let every treatment meeting be conducted with transparency, compassion and respect for his human dignity.
Lord we ask that You move upon the state advocates and Disability Rights and every agency called to bring oversight. Give them urgency, clarity and favor to act quickly, to bring order where there is chaos, and to ensure this precious one is placed under the care of people who fear You and who respect both the law and the life You have created. We pray for protection over his body, mind and spirit, that no further harm or neglect would come to him, and that Your peace would guard him. We pray also for the staff, that You would convict where there is hardness and lead them to repentance and to a true spirit of care, Matt 5:44 Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you.
Father, grant wisdom and endurance to this advocate, James 1:5 But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. Help them to document faithfully, to speak with both firmness and grace, and to rest in Your justice even while they press forward through every lawful means You have provided. Guard their heart from weariness and discouragement, and remind them that You are the ultimate Judge who will not delay in bringing justice in Your perfect way and timing.
We thank You that we can come boldly before You only through Jesus, John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, and that His name carries authority over every earthly authority. We trust You to act, to open what is closed, and to place this loved one in safety and dignity. We ask all of this in Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to walk in both prayer and diligent, peaceful advocacy. Keep every record, keep every communication in writing, continue to follow up with the agencies in a calm and persistent way, and seek wise counsel if needed. The Lord honors both faith and faithful action, and He is with you and your loved one in this difficult place.
