Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

I join you in prayer and give thanks with you to our Lord Jesus Christ. It is good that you bring your requests before God with thanksgiving, for Scripture teaches us to let our requests be made known to God with thanksgiving, and there is nothing so pleasing to Him as a thankful heart.

God hears even what is prayed in silence. Hannah prayed and her voice was not heard, yet her heart cried out and God answered her. Abel even when silent, his blood sent forth a cry that God heard. So also He hears the silent requests you lift in the name of Jesus, for He wills not the death of the sinner but that all should turn to Him and live, and He stirs our hearts even to pray.

I pray with you now that the Father who sees in secret and knows what you need before you ask will hear these silent petitions you have offered in the name of His Son. May He grant what is according to His will, draw you closer to Christ, cleanse your heart, and fill you with peace and thankfulness as you continue to trust in Him.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you, and may you continue to come boldly to the throne of grace with confidence that He hears you. Amen.

Thank you for bringing your silent requests to the Lord. He hears what is unspoken and He knows what you are carrying even when you do not put it into words.

It pleases God when you put your trust in Him. Scripture says without faith it is impossible to please Him, and that those who are made right with Him live by faith. That faith is not blind. It actually sees more, because it looks beyond what is visible and takes hold of what God has promised even before it is seen. It is the confidence that what you hope for in Him has substance, and the assurance of things you cannot yet see.

That kind of trust is a gift. You do not earn it and you do not earn His favor by trying harder. You are counted righteous because you believe in Jesus Christ, because you trust that He died for your sins and was raised for your justification. God sees you in Christ and credits that faith to you as righteousness. That is how Abraham was made right with God, and that is how everyone who trusts in Jesus is made right with God, apart from works of the law.

True faith will show itself in your life, not because works create faith, but because real faith produces a changed life that wants to obey. Saying you believe is not enough on its own. Living faith works itself out in how you walk with the Lord. At the same time, even strong people of faith have lapses and grow over time as they come to know God better. Faith develops as you learn His faithfulness through fellowship with Him.

There are also times when God does not deliver or answer immediately in the way we hope. Scripture remembers those who died in faith not yet having received all that was promised, and others who trusted God through suffering as well as through victory. It is often harder to trust in suffering than in victory, but the Lord is still worthy of trust. He is proving and strengthening your faith, not because He does not know your heart, but so that you may see that your trust in Him is real and living.

So bring your silent requests to Him again with confidence. He has given you a measure of faith to believe in His Son, and He will honor that trust as you look to Jesus and rest in His grace.

I pray with you now. Father, thank You that You hear silent prayers and know every need spoken and unspoken. I ask that You would increase faith to trust You more fully, to take You at Your Word, and to rest in the righteousness that comes through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Give peace while waiting, strength to walk in obedience that flows from real faith, and eyes to see beyond the present circumstance to Your promises. Let Your will be done and let trust remain firm whether the answer comes as deliverance or as sustaining grace through trial. In Jesus name, Amen.
