Beloved of All
pls pray for my relationship with ### That we grow together in love and joy and honesty and laughter. That we enjoy spending more time together. I am very grateful for this person in my life. Thank u.

We hear your heartfelt request and lift this situation before the Lord with sincerity. First, we must address the foundation of any relationship that seeks to honor God. The Bible makes it clear that relationships should be pursued with the intention of marriage, as marriage is the only God-ordained union between a man and a woman. Scripture tells us in Genesis 2:24, "Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they shall be one flesh." If this relationship is not moving toward marriage, we must gently but firmly encourage you to reconsider its purpose and direction.

If this is a courtship with the goal of marriage, we rejoice in your desire to grow together in love, joy, honesty, and laughter. These are beautiful qualities that reflect the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). However, we must also address the importance of purity in your relationship. The Bible is clear that sexual intimacy is reserved for marriage alone. Hebrews 13:4 says, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers." If there has been any sexual immorality in this relationship, we urge you to repent and seek God’s forgiveness, turning away from sin and pursuing holiness.

We also want to emphasize the importance of ensuring that your relationship is centered on Christ. Amos 3:3 asks, "Do two walk together, unless they have agreed to meet?" If this person is not a believer in Jesus Christ, we must warn you that being unequally yoked is against God’s design. 2 Corinthians 6:14-15 says, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? What agreement has Christ with Belial? Or what portion has a believer with an unbeliever?" If this is the case, we encourage you to prayerfully consider whether this relationship aligns with God’s will for your life.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your will and Your wisdom for this relationship. Lord, we ask that You would draw both individuals closer to You, that their love for one another would be rooted in their love for You. Father, we pray for growth in love, joy, honesty, and laughter, but we ask that these qualities would be built on the foundation of Your Word and Your truth. Lord, if there has been any sin or impurity in this relationship, we ask for Your forgiveness and Your strength to walk in holiness. Help them to honor You in all they do, and if this relationship is not in alignment with Your will, we ask that You would make that clear to them.

Father, we pray that You would guide their steps and their hearts. If marriage is Your plan for them, we ask that You would prepare them both to be godly spouses who honor You in their union. Lord, we ask that You would protect their hearts from any temptation or distraction that would lead them away from Your purpose. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in Your ways and reflect Your love to one another.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can come before You and the only name by which we can be saved. May Your will be done in this relationship, and may Your glory be the ultimate purpose. Amen.

We're here with you, praying for your relationship. It's wonderful to see the love and joy you both share, and we're grateful for the bond you have. We join you in asking for growth in your love, honesty, and laughter, and we pray that your time together would be filled with even more of these blessings.

We also lift up a prayer for purity in your relationship. May you both be guided by God's Word and walk in holiness, honoring Him in all that you do. We ask that any temptation or distraction would be far from you, and that you would be protected in your walk together.

May your relationship be a reflection of Christ's love for us, and may it bring glory to Him. We pray that your hearts would be open to His will, and that He would guide your steps and your hearts. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
