Beloved of All
pls for my relationship with ###. ### and i are friends but have not met in person yet. pls pray that when we meet in person in on month that everything goes smoothly and nicely. That we talk and relax and connect and enjoy each other's company. And that this event of us meeting brings us closer as friends. pls pray that when we go to the concert that we have been planning to attend together and that we bought tickets for, that we enjoy the concert and enjoy being friends, and become better friends. And that i am safe in his company.

We hear your heart’s desire for a meaningful friendship with ###, and we lift this situation before the Lord with sincerity. First, we must acknowledge that all good things come from God, and it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to consider the gift of salvation He offers, believing in Him, repenting of sin, and receiving eternal life (Acts 4:12, Romans 10:9-10). Without Christ, we cannot truly walk in God’s will or experience His blessings in their fullness.

Now, regarding your request, we pray with you for wisdom and discernment as you prepare to meet ### in person. Father God, we ask that You go before them and prepare their hearts for this meeting. May their time together be filled with peace, joy, and genuine connection, reflecting the love and unity You desire for Your children (1 John 4:7). Lord, we pray that their conversation flows naturally, that they feel at ease in each other’s presence, and that their friendship deepens in a way that honors You. Guard their hearts from any distractions, anxieties, or misunderstandings, and let Your Spirit guide their words and actions (Proverbs 16:9).

We also lift up the concert you will attend together. May it be a time of enjoyment and shared experience that strengthens your bond as friends. Father, we ask that You protect them both, physically, emotionally, and spiritually, during this time. Keep them safe in each other’s company and shield them from any temptation or ungodly influence. Help them to encourage one another in faith and to point each other toward You (Hebrews 10:24).

However, we must also address an important biblical principle regarding relationships. Friendship is a beautiful gift from God, but it is vital to ensure that any relationship, whether friendship or courtship, aligns with His design. If there is any romantic interest between you and ###, we strongly encourage you to approach this with purity and intentionality. The Bible calls believers to pursue relationships with the goal of marriage, not merely companionship (1 Corinthians 7:2, 2 Corinthians 6:14). If marriage is not the intention, we must guard our hearts from emotional or physical entanglements that could lead to sin (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5). We pray that if this friendship is meant to grow into something more, it would be with the purpose of honoring God in a future marriage between two believers.

Lord, we ask that You give ### and this dear one clarity about the nature of their relationship. If it is Your will for them to move forward in friendship, let it be for mutual edification and growth in Christ. If it is Your will for them to pursue marriage, prepare their hearts to do so in a way that glorifies You. But if this relationship is not in Your perfect plan, give them the strength to trust You and let go. May Your will be done above all else (Matthew 6:33).

We also rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or impatience that may be trying to creep into this situation. The enemy seeks to disrupt God’s purposes, but we stand on Your promise that no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that this friendship will be rooted in truth, love, and holiness, and that it will bear good fruit for Your kingdom.

Finally, we encourage you to seek the Lord’s guidance through prayer and Scripture as you navigate this season. Spend time in His Word to understand His heart for relationships, and surround yourself with godly counsel from mature believers who can speak truth into your life (Proverbs 11:14). Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Heavenly Father, we commit this situation into Your hands. May Your name be glorified in every aspect of their lives, and may they experience the fullness of Your peace and joy as they walk in obedience to You. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We're glad you shared this with us, meeting a friend in person for the first time can be both exciting and a little nerve-wracking, and it's wise to bring it to prayer. It sounds like you've built a genuine connection already, and we're asking God to let that carry into your in-person time with warmth, ease, and good conversation.

A concert is a wonderful setting: shared music can soften the pressure to fill every moment with words and lets you just be together. On the practical side, it’s never a bad idea to let someone you trust know your plans, and perhaps check in with that person afterward for peace of mind. That’s not about fear; it’s about common-sense care.

Lord Jesus, we pray for this meeting. Keep our friend safe in every way, and let the time together feel natural and life-giving. Give them both the right words and comfortable silences, and shield them from anything that would harm or distract. Bless the concert as a shared joy, and use these hours to deepen trust and mutual encouragement. Grow a strong, healthy friendship that honors You. In Your name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. This must be the supreme, the first, anxiety of every soul. You speak of a meeting with a friend, of a concert, of conversation and connection and safety. But I ask you, where is God in this? Have you made Him first? Is your soul in a state of Grace, reconciled to the Great Shepherd who seeks the straying sheep? For if not, all your plans are built upon sand, and the danger of falling, yes, falling into sin, into carelessness, into eternal ruin, is very great. One of the first works of Divine Grace is to startle a person from the sleep of spiritual lethargy, to make them open their eyes and discover their danger. I pray that this season be not merely a social pleasure, but a time when you are awakened to your standing before the Eternal One.

True friendship is a reciprocal thing, and the only perfect guide for any friendship is found in the words, "I command you." Our Lord Jesus calls us friends if we do whatever He commands. What then are His commands? Has your friendship any portion in that holy obedience? For a city besieged need fear no enemy outside so much as treachery inside. If you make a profession of friendship with Christ and do not keep His commandments, the danger is grave. I pray rather that you might first know the Friendship of Him who laid down His life for His friends, and in that light examine every earthly tie. Can you look to Him who alone is able to keep you from falling? Our safety lies not in our own prudence, nor in the good character of another, but in God our Savior. Present yourself before Him, and seek to be kept by His power, faultless, before the presence of His glory.

You ask for things to go smoothly, for connection, for enjoyment, and for safety. But I would have you think more of the concert of Heaven, where the redeemed sing the new song. It may be that your plans are quite innocent, yet remember, many that seem first in their own day become last when the Lord measures all service by His own standard of Grace. Do not be proud or careless, thinking your own path must prosper simply because you desire it. It is human to err; it is Divine to repent. All is of Grace from first to last. So I urge you, let the first thought upon waking, and the last upon your pillow, be this: "Lord, search me. Keep me near Thyself. Let no creature steal the affection that belongs rightly to my God." Then, whether the meeting be sweet or bitter, your heart shall rest in a covenant secured by blood, and no real harm can come nigh your spirit. Give all the Glory to His holy name, for to Him all the Glory belongs.

Concerts and pleasant meetings do not make true friendship. Robbers and murderers can eat and drink together, but such bonds vanish when the table is empty. If you desire a friendship that endures, let godliness be its only foundation. For brother aided by brother becomes a fortified city, but that city must be built on virtue, not on fleeting amusements.

You ask that the meeting go smoothly and bring you closer as friends. I ask: closer to what? If closer to the world, then your friendship is a danger to your soul. The day of the Lord comes suddenly, as in the days of Noah, when men were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the flood swept them away. Do not be lulled by thoughts of simple enjoyment. When you meet this person, be sober, be vigilant. Let your speech be pure, your conduct beyond reproach. If this friend is a child of the Church, then let your time together be an occasion to stir one another to good works, to speak of Christ, to flee temptation. But if not, why do you seek deep friendship with one who does not share your hope? Such bonds more readily drag us toward hell than lift us toward heaven.

Above all, I pray for your safety, not only of body but of soul. May the Lord guard your heart and mind, that you may walk in wisdom and not in the folly of lust or careless delight. Let your friendship be tested by this: does it lead you to prayer, to almsgiving, to growth in holiness? Or does it merely promise a pleasant evening and a warm feeling? Choose the friendship that remains when all concerts are forgotten, that which is sealed by the Spirit and leads to eternal joy.

What stands out to me in your request is the deep desire for connection, for things to go smoothly and for the friendship to grow. It is right to bring those hopes to God. He made us for relationship, and any genuine friendship can reflect something of the goodness he intended.

At the same time, the Scriptures show us that the most important connection we will ever have is our fellowship with God himself. That is why we were created: not merely for human companionship or satisfying experiences, but to know a shared life with our Maker, to walk in the light as he is in the light. When that is our foundation, it changes how we approach everything else.

So I will absolutely pray for your safety as you meet, and for your time together at the concert to be full of relaxation and enjoyment. I will pray that the meeting cultivates a good and honorable friendship. But I also want to gently remind you that the fullness of joy is found in abiding in Christ first. If our steps, even in pursuit of a human friendship, are not in agreement with his will, we can deceive ourselves into thinking we are walking in fellowship with him while actually walking in darkness. True oneness with God requires walking in his light, where the blood of Jesus continues to cleanse us from all sin.

Let your primary request be for a deepening walk with him, so that whether this earthly friendship flourishes or not, your joy will be full in Christ. Seek to have a fellowship that is rooted in thanksgiving and purity, and he will guide your interactions.

May the Lord grant you wisdom and discernment, and may you know the length and depth of his love for you as you trust him with every relationship in your life.
