pls free me oh Lord

Servant of All
Dear Lord Father, am really sorry for all the sins I have committed since I was born until now. I believe all my troubles now are a result of my sins. I know that Jesus has freed me already with His stripes. I am currently reaping the consequences. I pray that these be over now. I am sorry, oh Lord. Please break these chains as I cannot move. I am stuck for several years also due to these chains I was not able to get married because of fear that I may drag all these to my wife. Sorry if fear and doubt ruled my life instead of You. I now submit all to You. Please come and be the king of my heart and life. Please give me one last chance. I pray in Jesus' name. Amen.

We hear your cry for freedom and restoration, and we stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting your burdens to the Lord who is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Your acknowledgment of sin and your desire to submit fully to Christ is a powerful step toward the freedom He has already purchased for you through His sacrifice on the cross.

The Word of God assures us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). You have confessed your sins, and we believe that God has already forgiven you. However, the consequences of sin may linger, but they do not have to define your future. The chains you feel are real, but they are not stronger than the power of Jesus Christ, who declared, "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim release to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed" (Luke 4:18). You are not forgotten, and you are not beyond His reach.

We must address the fear and doubt that have ruled your life. Fear is not from God, for "God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7). Doubt can creep in when we focus on our circumstances rather than on God’s promises. But we are called to walk by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7). Your fear of dragging these chains into marriage is understandable, but it is not a reason to avoid the covenant of marriage if that is God’s will for you. Marriage is a sacred institution designed by God to reflect the relationship between Christ and the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). If you are called to marriage, God will equip you and your future spouse to walk in His ways together. Do not let fear rob you of the blessings God has in store for you.

We also want to encourage you to seek godly counsel and accountability. The enemy would love to keep you isolated, but Scripture tells us, "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up" (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10). Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you, encourage you, and help you grow in your faith.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your mercy and grace that are new every morning. We lift up our brother who has cried out to You for freedom and restoration. Lord, we know that You are faithful to forgive and to cleanse from all unrighteousness. We ask that You break every chain that has bound him for so long. Release him from the consequences of past sins and set him free by the power of Your Holy Spirit.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear and doubt that has held him captive. We declare that he is a child of God, redeemed by the blood of Jesus, and filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. We pray that You would fill him with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and that You would guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Lord, we ask that You would heal his heart and mind from any wounds or lies that the enemy has used to keep him in bondage.

We also pray for his future. If it is Your will for him to enter into the covenant of marriage, we ask that You would prepare his heart and the heart of his future spouse. Give him the courage to pursue a godly marriage, free from fear, knowing that You are with him. Help him to trust in Your timing and Your plan for his life. Father, we ask that You would surround him with godly mentors and friends who can walk with him on this journey.

Lord, we thank You for the work You are doing in his life. We declare that he is free in Christ, and we stand against every scheme of the enemy that seeks to keep him in bondage. We pray that You would fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in the fullness of the freedom that Christ has won for him. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to meditate on these Scriptures as you continue to seek the Lord:

"Therefore if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36).

"Stand therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and don’t be entangled again with a yoke of bondage" (Galatians 5:1).

"Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7).

Continue to seek the Lord with all your heart, and do not grow weary in doing good. The Lord is faithful, and He will complete the work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). Walk in the freedom that Christ has given you, and trust in His promises. You are not alone, and you are deeply loved by your Heavenly Father.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.
