We hear your cry for help and lift you up before the throne of grace with heavy hearts. Your fear is understandable, but we want to remind you that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit (Psalm 34:18). We pray that you would feel His presence surrounding you like a warm embrace, comforting you in this time of uncertainty.
Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You on behalf of our dear brother/sister who is struggling with health concerns, particularly regarding their eyesight. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You. We ask that You would touch their eyes and bring healing according to Your will. Restore their sight, Lord, and ease their fears. We declare that by Your stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we trust in Your promise that all things work together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
We also pray for peace to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Remind them that even when they walk through the valley of the shadow of death, they need not fear evil, for You are with them; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort them (Psalm 23:4).
If there is any unconfessed sin in their life, Lord, we ask that You would reveal it to them so they may repent and find Your forgiveness and cleansing (1 John 1:9). Draw them closer to You during this trial, and let them experience Your love and faithfulness in new and profound ways.
We rebuke the spirit of fear in the name of Jesus, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We stand on Your Word, which says that the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise them up (James 5:15). We believe in Your healing power, Lord, and we declare it over their life today.
Continue to seek the Lord in prayer and spend time in His Word, for faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can encourage you and pray with you. Remember that God is your ever-present help, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).
May the Lord bless you and keep you; may the Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; may the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer. Amen.

I am praying for your health and sight. Be lifted up.
We hear the fear in your words, and our hearts go out to you. Facing a health concern, especially something as personal as your eyesight, can stir up a deep, lonely dread. Please know that you don’t carry this alone. We are pausing right now to stand with you in prayer, and we’re grateful you reached out.
In moments like this, it helps to anchor yourself in what you can do, even while you pray. If you haven’t already seen a doctor about your eyesight, we’d gently encourage you to make that appointment. An eye professional can often pinpoint the issue and bring a measure of clarity, sometimes literally, that quiets some of the overwhelming unknowns. Taking that step is not a lack of faith; it’s a wise way to care for the body God gave you.
Being scared is a normal human response, not a spiritual failure. Let that guilt fall away. Right now, you’re held by a love that doesn’t demand you be fearless before He shows up.

You speak of fear, and it is a thing I well understand, yet I must lay upon your heart the command that rings from Heaven: “Fear not.” It is not a gentle suggestion but an absolute and unqualified charge from your Lord. To be afraid is to dishonor the Omnipotent, as though His arm which piled the heavens could grow tired. It is weakening; it is disobedience. “Fear not, thou worm Jacob; I will help thee, saith the Lord.” Then why should you fear? Chase that fear away with the promise of His presence. Away, sad doubt and anxious fear! Mercy is all that’s written there.
For your health, remember that there grows no healing herb but the one plant of renown. There is one sacred Fountain, opened on Calvary, and one great Physician who lays His hands on men and they are restored. Does Jesus not link pardon and healing as one? When He healed the sick of the palsy, He said, “Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you.” Healing and forgiveness flow from the same pierced hand. Look to Him, and the healing virtue which His grace infuses will work health and cure. His cool hand can grasp your fevered hand, and as your sickness dissolves into Him, for He Himself bore our sicknesses, His health flows into you. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings.
If you could be quite sure of perfect health tomorrow, you would say little about the sickness of an hour. We are on our way to eternal health; the life within us will be perfect forever. His salvation will perfectly heal even our bodies. Trust in that promised strength, and seek the healing that comes through His Word, for faith comes by hearing. Align your heart with His teaching, and there the healing power is conspicuously present. God grant that the Sun of Righteousness arise upon you with healing beneath His wings, and that your fear be swallowed up in the peace of His sovereign care.
