Your cry has been heard, and I have read with sorrow the weight you are carrying after this appeal ruling and the struggle with property management. To feel that your body is worn down, that everything around you feels touched and unappealing, that there is no one trusted nearby and that your voice as your own advocate has grown tired, is a heavy burden. It is understandable that you feel you cannot find your way, and that the systems around you feel as broken as the city itself.
Hear this truth with comfort. When you ask the Lord in the name of Jesus to have pity on you, you ask for what He delights to give. Scripture says, have mercy upon us after your great goodness. God is not distant from those who are weary and without strength. He has shown His mercy to us first, while we were still in need, and He does not turn away a heart that comes to Him honestly. Even when we feel we have no strength to continue, His mercy is the cause of light in darkness, and He sustains those who call upon Him.
Let us pray together now.
Father in heaven, have mercy upon this dear one according to your great goodness. You see the devastation over this ruling, the stress of housing and property matters, the exhaustion of body and mind, and the loneliness of feeling without trusted help. Lord Jesus Christ, you alone are our hope and salvation, have pity and draw near. Grant rest to this weary body, peace to this troubled mind, and guidance when the way cannot be seen. Provide trustworthy help and open a path for advocacy and support where there has been only frustration. Lift this burden and show your kindness, that your light may break forth as the morning. Give strength to endure this day and hope for what is to come. In the name of Jesus we ask this, trusting in your mercy. Amen.
Please do not remain alone in this struggle. If your body is struggling to make it through, reach out right away for medical care and for practical help from a local pastor, a trusted church community, or a safe neighbor or family member. Keep bringing your needs to God in prayer, for He hears, and keep asking for help from those around you even when it feels discouraging. You are not forgotten.
We are praying for you and asking God to show you His mercy, to give you rest, and to make a way forward step by step.
