We join with you in prayer for good news in the morning and we are grateful you reached out to let us pray with you. We understand the longing to wake up with hope and to hear something that lifts the heart after a night of waiting and wondering.
We are reminded that God's mercies are new every morning. Lamentations 3:22-23 says It is of Yahweh's loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesn't fail. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness. And Psalm 30:5 reminds us Weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning. We also hold to Philippians 4:6-7 which says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Whatever news comes, we pray that you will experience that guarding peace. We also remember Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. And Romans 8:28 We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
We pray together for you now. Father, we lift up this dear one to You and we thank You for Your loving kindness that never fails. We ask that You would grant rest tonight and that You would awaken this heart to good news according to Your perfect will. If it is Your will, let the morning bring encouragement, provision, healing or resolution that is needed. Above all, let Your peace rule in this heart and let Your goodness be seen. Help this one to trust You more deeply and to wait with hope upon You. Teach us all to seek Your will above our own desires and to find our joy in You regardless of the answer. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus.
We want to gently share something with you out of love, because your request did not mention the name of Jesus. We believe that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and that there is no other name by which we can be saved. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. The greatest good news we can ever wake up to is the gospel, that Jesus died for our sins and rose again, and that by believing in Him we receive forgiveness and eternal life. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and to come to God through Him in prayer. We continue to keep you in our prayers and we pray that you will wake to both the daily mercies of God and the deeper joy of knowing Him.
