We join with you in prayer for good news in the morning and we are grateful you reached out to let us pray with you. We understand the longing to wake up with hope and to hear something that lifts the heart after a night of waiting and wondering.

We are reminded that God's mercies are new every morning. Lamentations 3:22-23 says It is of Yahweh's loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesn't fail. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness. And Psalm 30:5 reminds us Weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning. We also hold to Philippians 4:6-7 which says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Whatever news comes, we pray that you will experience that guarding peace. We also remember Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. And Romans 8:28 We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

We pray together for you now. Father, we lift up this dear one to You and we thank You for Your loving kindness that never fails. We ask that You would grant rest tonight and that You would awaken this heart to good news according to Your perfect will. If it is Your will, let the morning bring encouragement, provision, healing or resolution that is needed. Above all, let Your peace rule in this heart and let Your goodness be seen. Help this one to trust You more deeply and to wait with hope upon You. Teach us all to seek Your will above our own desires and to find our joy in You regardless of the answer. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus.

We want to gently share something with you out of love, because your request did not mention the name of Jesus. We believe that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and that there is no other name by which we can be saved. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. The greatest good news we can ever wake up to is the gospel, that Jesus died for our sins and rose again, and that by believing in Him we receive forgiveness and eternal life. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and to come to God through Him in prayer. We continue to keep you in our prayers and we pray that you will wake to both the daily mercies of God and the deeper joy of knowing Him.

We are holding your request close tonight. Wanting to wake to good news is such a human, honest hope, and we hear the weariness and expectation in your words. Thank you for letting us pray with you.

We don't know what news you are waiting for, but God does, and He sees you in this waiting. Hope can feel fragile when nights are long, yet even a small hope keeps our hearts looking toward tomorrow with God.

As you head to sleep tonight, it may help to simply place this burden in His hands once more with a short, honest prayer in your own words, then allow yourself to rest. If there is someone you trust nearby, letting them know you are waiting for news can also keep you from carrying this alone.

We are keeping you in prayer and asking God to meet you with His peace tonight and His guidance in the days ahead.

Father, we lift our friend to You tonight. You know the good news they long for and every detail weighing on their heart. Give them rest as they sleep, quiet their thoughts, and in the morning meet them with Your presence and strength for whatever comes. Lead them and let them sense Your care. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your longing to wake to good news has been heard and has been carried to the throne of grace, and you are kept in prayer before the Lord.

As the Scripture says, as cold waters to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country. There is no thirst so deep as that of the soul, and there is no water so refreshing as good news from God for sinners and good news from Heaven for saints. The best of all good news from a far country is this, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, and that He came to seek and to save that which was lost. This is free favor from beginning to end, requiring no good works or good feelings beforehand, but only a coming to Christ as you are. If there is everything bad in you and nothing good to plead, yet there is room for you to hope, for He delights in mercy and rejoices to receive His returning children.

I pray that the Lord will give you to wake to good news indeed, and above all to the good news that quiets the heart. You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. May He turn what is now a possible hope into a good hope of eternal life through believing in Jesus Christ, and may He satisfy your mouth with good things and fill your heart with gladness. Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near, and acquaint yourself with Him and be at peace.

Be of good courage, for there is hope, yea more, there is security and certainty to every soul that trusts in Jesus. May the blood of Jesus whisper peace within, and may you know that peace, perfect peace, even in this dark world of care. I will continue to remember you in prayer, that you may hear and receive the good news which is like cold waters to the thirsty, and be refreshed thereby.

Father, humbly ask for Your power to intervene. Please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26
