Thank you for sharing your request with us. We are remembering you in prayer and asking God to be near to you.

We pray that you will wake to good news according to His gracious will, and that whether the answer comes quickly or after a time of waiting, you will know His peace. God is the one who feeds and sustains us from our youth up, and when we remember this we can be freed from anxiety and learn to put off worldly care and cleave to what is spiritual. Our hope is not only for what we see today, for hope that is seen is not hope, but we are saved by hope and called to wait with patience for the good things He has promised. That hope strengthens our hearts and refreshes our souls while we are still in this life.

In this time of waiting we encourage you to remain patient in tribulation and to continue steadfast in prayer, trusting that tribulation itself can make us more hardy and proven, and that prayer is a great help and weapon God has given us. Abounding in hope and believing His promises brings joy even in trials and keeps us close to the Holy Spirit.

So we pray for you now. Heavenly Father, we thank You for this dear one and for Your care over every day of their life. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope of salvation, that You would grant good news as You see best, give rest from anxiety, fill the heart with firm hope, and help them to hold fast to You to the end. Provide what is needed, guard them through the night and into the morning, and let Your will be done with grace and love. Amen.

Thank you for sharing your heart and asking for prayer. I have prayed for you, that the Lord will meet you with His presence and His peace when you wake, and that you will hear good news according to His loving will for your life.

Your desire for good news is one that God understands deeply. The Scriptures tell us that through patience and comfort found in the Bible we can have hope, and that God Himself is the God of hope. There is no real lasting hope apart from Him, but when we belong to Him hope is enlarged and made sure. My prayer for you is what Paul prayed, that the God of hope will fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may abound in hope.

Hope is so vital. It is what sustains us when things are dark or discouraging and keeps us going when we are tempted to give up. The hope God gives is not a wish, but a living hope and a blessed hope. It is living because Jesus Christ rose from the dead, and that resurrection is the foundation for our confidence in eternal life. It is blessed because it looks forward to the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ and to the inheritance He has promised to His children. That hope purifies us and helps us keep an eternal perspective even in present trials.

The Bible also teaches that hope involves waiting. What we hope for we do not yet see, and so we wait for it with patience. That patience of hope can be difficult, because we want answers now, yet God is patient and faithful to work in His perfect time. Like a farmer waiting for the harvest, the Lord knows the right moment to bring fruit to completion. While you wait for the good news you long to wake up to, take comfort in the Scriptures and remember that God is working together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.

The greatest good news of all is the gospel itself, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners and to give us eternal life as a gift of His grace. That promise comes from God who cannot lie, and His Word cannot fail. Because of that, we can be of good cheer even when we feel cast down, knowing that the Lord is near and that He has not forgotten you.

May the Lord encourage your heart as you wait on Him, fill you with His joy and peace, and sustain you with the sure hope you have in Jesus. May He answer your prayer for good news in the way that most reveals His goodness and love to you.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer that you would wake up to good news. We have continued to lift you up before the Lord and have asked our Heavenly Father to watch over you through the night and to awaken you with mercy hope and good news from His hand. We cling to the promise in Lamentations 3:23 that His mercies are new every morning and to the truth in Psalm 30:5 that joy comes in the morning and we have prayed that you would experience that joy and peace as you awake.
